  • Evening all.

It is blinking freezing here, woodburner is roaring and I've had to whack up the CH as the house was so cold when I got in from work.

Well work was work and that's all I'm saying about that.

Made another £11 on £bay last night which has been paid to T£sco CC.

redeemed another £10 from 0pini0n bar, not sure how long till that gets paid, must check that one.

Today has been a NSD, everyone took lunch to school and work, tea was cottage pie and broccoli.

DH has given me a couple of bits of his to go on £bay and told me to pay what ever i make off my CC, will try and get them listed at the weekend.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.

    Evening all.

Still cold here but at least there is no snow.

Not much to update really, havn't made any extra money over the last few days and have a ar$£ of a buyer on £bay, I know they are pulling a fast one, I've requested the item is sent back to me before I refund £11, see what happens.

Paid £3.79 off Mr T CC, could do with some nice big amounts to throw at it but sadly not possible at the minute.

Made some lovely soup today in the SC, tomato, butternut squash and lentil and it was beautiful, we had it for tea with cheese panini's.

Have a veggie box coming tomorrow and ordered some meat as well, thnk it came to about £25, I already know my grocery budget is blown for this week though, will update the sorry amount tomorrow.

Work is crazy and I'm exhausted, can't wait for the weekend, it is having a knock on effect at home though and we look as though a bomb has gone off, going to try and get on top of it this weekend and then I'm going to have a huge blitz at half term we seemed to have a huge amount of clutter, I don't think it helped that I was ill over Christmas and didn't have a good sort out then, which is something I usually do, I like to get rid of a load of stuff before the kids receive loads more at Christmas.

    I hope everyone is ok.x.
  • Ooh, soup sounds nice! Did you use tinned or fresh tomatoes?

Sorry you are so tired, hope you get some rest soon Xx

    Hi PLMBL, hope your OK.

I used a mixture, had some vine tomatoes going a bit squishy so chucked them inwith a tin of chopped toms, a red onion, squash and lentils, I added a stock cube (forgot this morning) and a splash of cream when I got in this evening and whizzed it all up, nom nom.

I hate ebay idiots, they are so annoying, and half the time just trying it on.

Hope you get some rest soon x

  • Sorry to hear about eB@y idiots  - so many people on there now buy stuff deliberately to request the money back!

Soup sounds lovely!! Big hugs to you!! x

  • Hi PWPS

How is YouGov going? I have had a few surveys this week but still need £3.15 to get to my £50 but you were much closer than me so hopefully you are at pay out (or very near).

Good luck with the declutter - I am trying to declutter one item a day (me and Igamogam are attempting it). Although I seem to do batches rather than one thing a day. I always make sure I have a charity bag on the go so as soon as the children say they have outgrown something I make sure it is clean and then it is off to charity.

I need to get my house sorted - my bedroom is a dumping ground for everything.

Hi Jwil, hope you are ok, I'm not stressing about ebay but I will be glad when i no longer have to rely on it for extra pennies.

Ho Lilty, hope you are ok and your back is feeling less painful.

There are some real con artists on ebay, but I believe in karma and hopefully they will get their comeuppence :D.

Hi EE, how's life treating you at the minute? ok I hope!

    I am 25 points away from payout on y0ug0v, so bl**dy annoying:mad:

I have decided to set myself a mini challenge during half term and that's to have a 100 item declutter , house needs it though.
