  • Hey you

Sorry to hear about tenant. I wish I could be your tenant. Would kill to live in a *house* without heroin addicts on one side, and complete maniacs with absurd ideas about microwaves and tinfoil on the other. Not to mention all the sleepwalking and talking above my bedroom... And communal stairs that I fear to tread on. :( I don't understand people who don't look after their home, and less so the ones who don't pay for it. Idiots.

    Big hugs!!

Lilty I would love for you to be my tenant, I think your uite a long way from me sadly :(.
  • Evening all.

Not alot going on at the minute, money is tight and I'm trying to be very cautious about what I'm spending as I know there is no more rent coming in.

Went to Mr T last night and managed to get carrots, crisps and chocolate for the grand sum of 78p after vouchers.

Still making daily overpayments, but I'm down to just £1 a day as ebay sales as slow and had no money from surveys.

Only 1 more sleep to go until we break up from school, I'm so ready for a week off, looking forward to just pottering around the house and catching up on housework. Seem to have already got quite a few things going on next week so at least the kids won't be bored.

I need to sit down adn have a proper look at finances and see what I have left for the rest of the month, it's going to be tight but doable, I'm planning on lots of home cooking next week to keep food budget down, I'm also planning on having a big clear out so hopefully i will find so ebayable items, I have set myself a challenge to clear out 100 items during half term week:eek:.

Better go and take sausage rolls out of oven for tomorrow's packed lunches.

    Take care.x.
  • £1 a day is still £28 this month. Don't knock it - that is excellent in my book!!

Big hugs to you. I am in sunny Kent, from Nottingham originally. May end up moving somewhere a bit cheaper after Jellytot finishes (not to mention starts!) primary school.

    :) sausage rollsssss mmmmmmmmmmmm

    £1 a day is a worthwhile overpayment!

Have a good half term. I'm off next week too, planning on getting stuck in!

  • Thanks for the words of encouragement ladies, i need to keep telling myself at least I m making the overpayment and trying to get out of debt.

Today we have broken up from school/work for a week and it is very much needed, I'm so tired tonight, I'm going to write this and then go to bed and hopefully wake up as fresh as a daisy and raring to go. I want to blitz the house tomorrow so going to need some energy.

Small spend today in sainsbugs on valentine card and choccies for DH and some mushrooms for with tea, spent £6.41.

Received a payment from p1nec0ne so have sent £4 to MrT cc.

I have a couple of items ending on ebay this weekend, bids are about £10 would be nice to get £15 though.

    Night night, see you tomorrow.x.

  • Hi debtfreeoneday and thankyou, I must keep telling myself that any overpayment is better than none.

Busy Morning so far. Went into town this morning and spent £32 on groceries in sainsbug and a further £30 (roughly) on birthday presents for DD, i have her main present (horsey stuff) just wanted to get her some little bits to open, she is having a family party tomorrow at home, I'm just going to do sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls etc, oh and of course a HM birthday cake, chocolate has been requested. She is having a 2nd party later in the week and having some friends over.

I have cleaned the porch so far this morning, done 2 loads of washing which are hung on the line and have filled all the log baskets.

I have also started my declutter challenge of 100 items -
1* pair of DS old trainers - binned.
2* Pair of my flip flops - binned.
3* Ribena bottle - Recycling bin.

    only 97 to go :rotfl:.

Not made an over payment yet as I have 2 items ending on ebay later and will wait to see if they sell before making a payment.

    Hope evryone is ok.x.

4* Old phone book - recyling bin.
5* old magazine - recycling bin.
6* chipped soap dish - bin.
7* out of date flea treatment - bin

Also cleaned out Guinea pigs and have hung out more washing/put another load on.

Cleaned out a kitchen cupboard and reorganised, I now have a whole empty shelf :D.
  • I have cleaned out the cupboard under the kitchen sink, now much tidier and I can see what I've got.

Chicken roasting in the oven, need to go and do the veggies in a bit.

Sold 2 items on £bay, so more decluttering, will count them on monday when they have actually left the house.

Have also done several surveys whilst watching the rugby this afternoon.
  • Made a payment of £3 to Mr T cc.

Forgot to mention that postie brought me another £2 in tesc0 clubcar vouchers this morning.
