Whilst I love pets, I am not fond of the work required in keeping the smaller ones clean and exercised etc. Maybe a dog. I like dogs. :rotfl:
Yay for DD, well done her!I was the same, and I always tried hard. Came out with good grades in the end despite not being very clever compared to both my sisters.
Intrigued by the pie. Did you put a base on and everything? Have never made a pieI made jam, lemon curd tarts and mince pies the other day!
Hope work is ok tomorrow. You try and take it easy tooo...xx
Hi Lilty, I'm the one that is worse for wanting pets and I would have more if I had the room/time, just love them.
Pie is dead easy I just put the filling in a pyrex oven dish and then put a pastry lid on.
Hope your back is easing and you are not doing too much.x.0 -

Hi Debtfree, good to have you posting again as well.x.0 -
Evening all.
It was all a bit crazy this morning trying to get everyone ready for school and me for work and the animals sorted , but we did and left the house just after 8 and everyone got to where they needed to be on time.
Today has been a NSD:D, we all took packed lunches to school/work and I didn't need to spend a penny on anything, sold an item on ebay , only went for £2 but it will be £2 off the CC.
Blinking pony has bust the clasp on her stable rug, need to have a look and see if I can fix, not spending £50 on a new one.
Work today was interesting as it always is after the holidays, as I work with special needs it can be hard enough anyway, but trying to get them back into a routine after the crazy time of Christmas is always a nightmare, I should be grateful I've only had one thing thrown at me today, I have a feeling tomorrow will be worse:(.
Hope everyone is ok.x.0 -

Thanks Debtfree.
Kitchen is blitzed, packed lunches made up and veggies chopped ready to bang in slow cooker tomorrow for soup, load of washing in machine.
Going to go and watch silent witness.0 -
Ooh enjoy Silent Witness. I have all on just getting ready to get myself and one Jelly out of the house on time in a morning. No idea how you do it. I am usually unfed, half a cup of coffee in me, no make up and the most mismatched clothes ever, and Jelly is perfectly turned out and fed :rotfl:
Luckily she doesn't go anywhere I need to think about on my work days so I go to work still unfed but all of my coffee, make up, and proper clotheslol
Thanks for the pie insight! THAT I can do, Its all the baking with ceramic peas etc that gets me!
I finally got the washing finished today. And somehow I have a full load of days again. I know so because Jelly dumped them from one end of my bedroom to the other, trying to collapse and unzip the laundry basket so that she could use it as a tunnel. not like she has a proper tunnel or anything... sigh.
Off to bed I go. Dreading work tomorrow but I honestly do not know how you do it. Flipping loon, or superwoman. The latter methinks xx

Hi pinkpoppies, it's hard work at time but very rewarding, today has been quite a good day and more up than down with the children.
Would it be rude of me to ask what your son's needs are, if you don't want to tell me that's ok, I know sometimes I don't like to give to much information out on my diary.0
