Morning Debtfree and Happy New Year, its good to have you back.0 -
Morning all, feels as though i have been up forever, DD was back to school today (DS tomorrow), so had to be up at 7  to get her up and out of the house in time to catch the bus, we both struggled.
So I've managed to get a few things done, animals are all done, 1 log basket filled 1 still to do, washer on.
Also been shopping withdrew £50 for groceries and spent £30.51 in ald1 and £7.83 in B&M, also have my box coming Friday so hope fully I should remain in budget (£75 week), put the change in loose change tin, but hopefully I shouldn't need to get anything more than a couple of pints of milk.
Also bought DS some new pillows, these were £6 and have recycled his old ones into the dogs bed, this comes out of the miscellaneous pot, which I budget £50 a month as there is always school trips or little things that are needed.
Whilst sorting out airing cupboard last night I found a bottle of bathroom cleaner and a pack of toilet rolls I had forgotten about, so that's one less thing for next weeks shopping list.
Checked banking this morning and minimum payment of £150 has gone out to Tesc0 CC.
Also found 3p in the washing maching, I'm rich :rotfl:.
Hope everyone is ok, off to chop logs and chuck another load in the washer.x.0 -
We are so alike! Our dog has our old duvet/pillows as required and he loves it. My Mam is amazing as she makes cotton sheets to go over them which I can just wash instead of doing the whole thing. I do similar with grocery money however I've decided this year to put anything under budget to debt - going over budget is not an option!Debt - CCV £3792

Have caught up with your posts and you sound in good form. Keep going. Last year was very tough for us and we are hoping that this year is a more peaceful one. I wish you and your family the same. God bless0 -

HI Debtfree, not sure what I'm going to use the left over grocery money for, maybe save it for a trip to a Theme park in the summer, fingers crossed.0 -

Afternoon.
2nd basket logs done.
4 items listed on ebay.
another load washing on.
Gammon put in slow cooker (for sandwiches/salads this week).
Must do my work bag, but I keep putting it off.0 -
Had a very productive afternoon, managed to get another load of washing done and put away, made a quiche for tea, turned what was left of last nights beef stew into meat and potato pie which is now sat in the fridge ready for me to chuck in the oven tomorrow night when I get in from work and used left over pastry to make jam tarts
.
DD first day back at school was good and she received her school report, which I am pleased with as although she finds a couple of subjects a little tricky, she does try hard.
Better go and dig the kitchen out as it looks like a bomb has gone off and make tomorrows packed lunches.0 -
Crikey you are so busy all of the time, you put me to shame!! You are also a good reminder why not to let Jellytot have animals as I will be the one constantly doing everything. Whilst I love pets, I am not fond of the work required in keeping the smaller ones clean and exercised etc. Maybe a dog. I like dogs. :rotfl:
Yay for DD, well done her!I was the same, and I always tried hard. Came out with good grades in the end despite not being very clever compared to both my sisters.
Intrigued by the pie. Did you put a base on and everything? Have never made a pieI made jam, lemon curd tarts and mince pies the other day!
Hope work is ok tomorrow. You try and take it easy tooo...xx
