Is it the screen though or is it the digitiser?
I have one and it has been cracked for ages so I put a screen protector over it and I don't even notice. No repair cost, no voided warranty.
When my driving instructor was hit by another car it broke his phone and he claimed on his car insurance, if you're claiming on that anyway you may as well claim for the ipad (if your car insurance covers it).Hi. She was very fortunate. It could have been so much worse. I'm gathering as much information for her and I'll let her decide the best course of action once the weekend is over . Really appreciate all the advice everyone's given.Agree with 'Lifeforms', and just getting someone to replace the screen could end up with the ipad not working very well. Go and get a quote from an Apple Store and head down the insurance route. I think it's about £200 but this would be for a replacement ipad. Glad she wasn't hurt!0 -
Think it's the screen. I'll mention your suggestion to her. It's worth trying. Many thanks.Chickabiddybex wrote: »Is it the screen though or is it the digitiser?
