CAFCGirl - All my love and comfort goes out to you and your OH. I am all choked up but as usual, I do not have the words. Look after yourself and as others have said, many have been through what you are going through, so if you need them, ask.

Nice to see you Elle_Gee, i had wondered how you were getting on. Nice to know you are still around.

    Take care everyone

CAFC girl sorry to hear your news. Happened to me last year and it is devastating no matter what stage you were at. Nothing prepares you for how you will feel. Take it easy and big (hugs) PM me if you want ;)

  • Oh dear...

...not even 5 weeks and I have bought a pregnancy magazine!!!!

Couldn't resist. Was in Sainsbury's using up my Nectar bonus points vouchers and the magazine aisle (change pregnancy mags) were calling me!

Other that this forum, that is the only baby thing I have done - been so busy and tried to resist looking at cute stuff. But I have failed!:rotfl:

I am 14 weeks today. Can't believe how quickly the last two weeks have gone. My weight has stayed the same today, so that means I have lost 6 pounds since I was 8 weeks. To be honest, I was a bit gutted when I saw I hadn't lost anything this week, but then the maternal side hits me and reminds me that I am pregnant and the weight loss has been a side issue due to not having too much of an appetite.

All day yesterday I was getting this pain through my right boob (sorry if TMI) throught to the nipple, though it had gone, but started to appear again!!!

As for the pregnancy brain, mine seems to be in full swing too. I am well known at work for my memory and it is of great assistance to my job. Really frustrates me that I am not as quick of the mark memory wise, but hopefully that will sort itself out. Agreed, that lists are the saviour at the moment.

Mmmm..what else... get to listen to the baby's heart beat around the end of the month. Quite excited about that, but I expect that will send me on another emotional rollercoaster like the 12 week scan did. Will be good for hubby to hear it though!

Even though I dont think I am really showing (had a bit of a belly anyway :D ), does anyone else just keep their hand on their belly or rub it and talk to bubs out loud or in their head???? I do, am I mad??? I tend to do in the bath or when I am in bed.

Best try and get some work done now.

    Have a good day all
    xxxxx

I did that almost straight away and still do it. I put the cat on my bump deliberately to get him to purr to Bean:o :p :rotfl:
