  • Scan pictures are £4 each at my hospital and there is a note when you get your appointment saying that you must have the right change or you won't get one!

I got one free at my 12w scan though cos I saw the consultant himself!

Cant believe there is so much of a difference between health services over the country.

I'm quite happy to give a donation, to cover costs of these things but I think charging £5 is a bit steep....!
But then i'm also happy to pay if those people who cant afford it can get a copy...not sure if thats how it does work....

Just hope (now!) that I can remember which way up the picture goes!

  • Just seen this M&S maternity bra offer on HotDeals. Chocolate coloured might not be to everyone's taste, but for £2 delivered......!

OMG this reminded me of something, my mum never had scans, having had me in 1970...they used to X-Ray pregnant women  AND she spoke to me yesterday and said 'ooh by 38 weeks i was already in hospital'.
I am glad things have changed!

  • Lol, I was born in 1973 and no scans for me either! (never heard of the x-ray thing though! ).

My Mum also says the 38w thing. Apprently they didn't count from LMP as we do now but conception.

And she spent the last week of the pregnancy off her face by all accounts - drugged up to the eyeballs by the doctors!

  • Ooh, Tine, you're getting booked in on my birthday!

I just happen to have a Dr appointment on Wednesday to discuss DD's recent illness and because she won't be there it is booked in my name so I thought I would just mention it... Not really sure what the procedure is at this Dr's... Last time they still tested me but that was a different surgery...

OH wants to come to appointments but seriously low on holiday left with all the weddingy things we've been doing.. If only we'd of known! Might check out the information someone posted earlier and see what we can sort out... He works for a national company so they might be quite willing...

This time round is so far really different to the first time (Not completely diff, my boobs are killing just as bad as the first time!) But I keep smelling wiffy feet... and neither OH or I have wiffy feet... Anyone else getting odd smells?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
