The one I linked to does, (if the link doesn't take you to it, put in the catalogue code A0039-061) but only in white, that's it, that's your choice, and given the smallest back size is too big er, well, that kind of scuppers that! I could have worked that out myself if I'd managed to remember your back size! Sorry, I have a lot of pregnancy brain!

:rotfl: hohum :) thanks for trying Fritha! :D
I've decided I'm going to go to Bravissimo in my lunch break today and see if I can't get a nice comfy one - and maybe one that hide my nipples as they have decided to stand up permanently since yesterday lunch time... very inconvenient! LOL

my nipples did that at about 4wks and have yet to 'relax' again :rotfl: Let us know how you get on. I've used bravissimo lots in teh past for normal bras, but don't ahve a shop nearby for a maternity/nursing bra fitting, so if you have a good experience will trya nd pencil a trip to one ;)

The fitting should be the same, same rules, bra should not dig in etc. Hubby got me 2 maternity bras from M&S but the primark sports bras were better, and a helluva lot cheaper!!!

  • Right so I rang the MW first thing this morning and i've got to go back to the EPAU tomorrow at 8.50 although they have said that my notes have on that when I had the last scan i had a haematoma(sp?) that could be causing the bleeding.

This is the first I knew of this! Can anyone shed any light on this or point me in the direction of some further information and whether this is a good or bad thing?

Hawkings Boots, I'd ring the midwife backa and ask her what a haematoma is and how it would affect the pregnancy if at all. That's what they are there for. I hate it when they use these medical terms and not explain it:mad: !

    Congrats Krystaltips and Ickle beans!:j

A haematoma is a collection of blood outside of the bloodvessels. It can vary in severity but basically to give you an idea - a bruise is a type of haematoma. It CAN affect the pregnancy but it would really depend on what type of haematoma you're talking about. If you're going to worry between now and tomorrow then call back - otherwise unless there is a serious change in what is happening I'd wait until tomorrow.

  • Congrats Ikklebeans, you're probably about as far along as me... I'm 4 weeks today... I found out I was expecting DD at exactly 4 weeks just by the sudden onset of morning sickness... I'm hoping that doesn't start just yet this time though! Have a Dr appointment Wednesday, actually made it for something else... But it's handy timing!

On the subject of bras, They really do need to be well fitting and if underwired it's really important the wires don't dig in anywhere, that's a recipe for blocked ducts... I went from a DD to a GG cup last time... They never shrank back past E... And I'm just starting to bulge out of that!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Hay Krystaltips - may be due the same time! As well as Mrs Tine also on here!

I rang the docs today to make an appointment, The receptionist told me I might be better speaking to the midwife in a different building. I spoke to her and she said she will make me an appointment at about 8 weeks time (I go on holiday 12th Oct and she said she will book me in before then) and it will take about an hour.

Both the receptionist and the midwife said I don't need to bother making a docs appointment. Just take folic acid and wait for the midwife appointment.

Is this normal? Would have thought I would need to see doc, not to confirm, but to get it on my medical records in case anything goes wrong in the meantime.
