Has anyone here had thrush during pregnancy? If so how was it treated-can u buy over the counter treatment or do we need to see midwife/GP? I want to avoid using antifungal medicines if I can so have cut out sugar and yeast from my diet, I'm taking probiotics which is safe during pregnancy. Any advice greatly appreciated as its driving me  !! Also, I think I am just generally run down as I've got a bit of a cough coming on. I'm never usually ill but just wondered what you guys took to boost immune system.
    Thanks xx

Welcome to my latest preoccupation.. bras!

I'm usually a 34D, lost a bit of weight in the last few months before my BFP, went down to a 34C but now I'm definitely back up to a 34D and still growing. I'm used to underwired bras so every non-wired bra I try on never seems to feel or look 'right'. Also I want something to sleep in with a bit of support. I've got a support vest which i got from BHS years ago which is good but I can't find anything similar now, other than the nursing ones from Mothercare, but I feel it's a bit early for that now (my other preoccupation is starting to buy things and jinxing everything!). Any suggestions anyone?

Hope you are all well :)

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes

As you can see from the birth list, Alex arrived safe and well on Wednesday. It took 7 hours of induced labour and cost me a tooth!

I am well but have stayed in hospital on the postnatal ward so that I can be close to Alex (who is in Neo Natal). He only had to spend two days in an incubator in ICU and is now in an open cot! We are so impressed about how well he is doing. All the wires and stuff are still pretty scary, and certainly add a new terror to nappy changes, but I am so happy he is healthy!

I will post the birth story when I finally get home, as you can see from the tooth comment it has some amusing points ...

You can use natural yoghurt....just spread it on liberally (best done at night)
For anything else you will need to see a doc, but they will prob just prescribe you a fluconazole pessary(which you are trying to avoid).

    Hope that helps.
