Hmm, I am sure I had updated my EDD on here ages ago.

The second trimester has gone by so fast, hopefully the third one will too though I doubt it somehow! I think I have started nesting - I cleaned the whole kitchen the other day and have finally started getting some lovely decorative things for the house which is nice as it hasn't really looked like a home since we moved in. It's just so frustrating not having money.

I am working for AQA at the moment which is my only source of income, which is nice because I can choose my own hours and wear what I like - I can even sit in the garden to work sorry I will stop making you all jealous now!

Hi, Im not a newbie either, just under a new account name....have actually been on here since it started up....but I digress.

Im currently 20 weeks pregnant with number 3, I have two girls already (3 & 6). So far so good, had some issues earlier on with regards spotting, but that cleared up. I have felt the baby kicking for about a month or so now, and my OH can feel him/her now, my midwife after measuring me a couple of weeks ago also though I was perhaps 2 weeks on from what the dating scan dated me at....is this possible?

Anyway, I have my 20 week scan tomorrow, really looking forward to it, and will hopefully be finding out what it is.....hopefully will make some good MSE friends on here to share the next 20 weeks with

Has anyone else booked their antenatal classes yet? or 'parent craft' as its called on the leaflets i was given lol. Ive just managed to get booked in, they say you need to book at 25 weeks. Im now nearly 27.

I also booked a breastfeeding class, but found out today its unlikely ill be able to bf unless i manage to come off my bp tablets once baby is born.

Ive got to see the midwife next friday, she'll be doing routine blood tests for iron levels etc. and ill get to hear babys heart beat again aaww! just in time for me to go away the next day!

Ive got another scan booked in for the week following our holiday, so looking forward to that. Will be our fourth scan, glad theyre looking after us.

ps-my bump went all lop sided last night when the baby moved around-i think i had a leg sticking out or something odd!

I'm with you on the dates, Skylight! I calculated my own as 20 Dec due to my LMP but have been given 17 Dec. Hope I don't go 11 days over this time!

Congrats and welcome to the thread, Nard1uk! Re the measuring thing, some MW's don't even bother with this as its apparently not that accurate. But who knows! Just make sure your labour bag is packed at least 2w before your EDD! :rotfl:

Glad all is well, Keely. I have an appnt with a consultant next week due to my BP being so high. Apparently I will probably be put on meds and have more scans too. I was just under MW care with Poppy but was seen at home 3 or 4 times a week during the third tri!. It meant I couldn't go out much but hearing the heartbeat made up for that .

Hi guys

I have just come back from my 20 week scan and I'm having another boy! (very MSE of me dont you think?).

I am so impressed with the 20 week scan - we had a 16 week one last time and they dont check half as many things as they do with the 20 week one. I even got to see the blood pumping in and out of the heart - it was facinating.

I can believe I am half way there already!

Awww, congrats Sarah! So glad everything went well! And it seems only a minute ago we were both here last time! :rotfl:. Do you think this means I will have another girly?! .

you book at 25 weeks, ready for when you are 30+ weeks check if i was you-no one told me! lol.

Eeeek! Thanks Keely! I just dug out the book and it says to book well in advance sometime after 24 weeks for the hospital ones. (So, I'll give them a call and smile nicely at the them down the phone!) The non-hospital ones are smaller so my midwife wouldn't let me book in advance, she just kept telling me not to worry and to just turn up at them when I got to 30 weeks!
