She rang me up today in floods of tears icon9.gif When she went into hospital she had a rash on her hands and on her stretchmarks so they gave her penicillin , but she seems to have had a reaction to it as the rash spread to practically all over her body and her feet and legs swelled up. Plus she was sore from her stitches and probably was going through the 'baby blues' too.

She rang me up later on though and sounded much brighter. The midwife had been and told her to stop taking the penicillin and she'd had some stong painkillers which had helped a lot.

    Thanks for asking icon7.gif

i thanked you for that post but it was sarcastic sheel!! so did not need to see that picture lmao!!! i showed my husband who was nto too impressed!!! i didnt have any until two weeks ago when they exploded into big angry red welts. tehy are horrible and the ones under my bump in bikini area are relaly tender to touch! i didnt put cream on through my pregnancy cos it made my bump really itchy. all mine are on hips and below bump though which isnt too bad. but darn annoying!!

Had the midwife here today who was really sweet. The hosp have decided I am high risk so I have to have 3 extra scans and a load of extra blood tests - this is all blooming stupid as they can't find anything wrong with either me or the bump

Luckily lovely midwife says we can ignore the hosp saying I need to give birth there and go ahead and do a home birth anyway :T

Hope everyone is managing well with the heat?
