Congratulations Sheel and lost buckeroos!!!:j Thanks Fritha for updating the list-I'm not very technical,it was DD that got me on in the first place.Beautiful pictures and names of the new little ones!!!I'm embarrassed to say, I still haven't found a name that fits the little fella:o

And for all those still waiting, that have been told the birth is not immenent-I was told I had at least a week,and little fella turned up just over 24 hours later,lol!
RJH get scoffing on the pineapples and clary sage,lol.Seriously though sending loads of labour vibes and don't see this time as waiting, but mentally and physically looking after yourself.I did'nt really do that and had it not been for the fact I've been at home I'd be even more exhausted/frazzle brained:rolleyes: than I am now,lol.

I have my booking in appt with midwife tomorrow so hopefully will have more idea whether i am 7 or 11 weeks!

i am so prepared its unbelievable adn to be hoenst the nesting was a novelty at first and now my house is like a blooming clinically sterile environment there is physically nothing else i can do and the staying active bit gets a bit tedious when u have done everything!!! ideas of how to pass the time greatly appreaciated!

Debecca - congratulations on the birth of Constance. That's the name we've decided on as it was my Nanna's name. She'll be christened with the full name and then always called Connie. Is that how you're doing it too?

Glad you enjoyed the scan Keely...I'm feeling loads more movement now which is lovely.

I took full advantage of the 10% off day at Mamas & Papas on Saturday...but a word of warning - the lead time on the furniture I ordered was 14 weeks so beware! If you're going to order, do it sooner rather than later.

Enjoy the sunshine...can't wait until I stop work!!!!

Hi Ladies,
This is my first post on MSE although i have been reading it for ages. I have recently found out i am expecting no2 so thought i'd see if there was a parenting area and here it is.

I used reusable nappies with DD and have kept most of them (sold on the ones in really good condition for only £1 less than i paid for them new). She came out of them 3 months ago at 22 months. I'll be reusing as much as possible from DD with this one but am looking for new ideas to save money. I couldn't BF DD but will give it a try with this one as formula cost a fortune.

Hello all,

Congratulations to all the new mothers - It is good to hear your stories!
I had my 20 week scan on Friday and all looked well. All measured to normal size so half way there now! A bit strange to think that this could be the last time we had a look at "mini" until we meet in person (we are not planning on paying for extra scans unless is seems necessary for some medical reason..).

Otherwise enjoying the sunshine - makes it harder to go into work though!

Hi everyone, I seemed to get missed off the list at some point so just replacing myself.

I am now 10 weeks today and i am truly miserable! I seem to have selective sickness that just wont stop! I can eat a whole meal and only throw up one item! Strange!

Hope all the new mums and newborns are doing well and hope rjh isn't too far behind them now!

Wow, its been so busy on this thread over the last few days!!!
Congrats all new mum's/grandma!!

Had my 12 week scan today and all was fine. I'll need to change my EDD.
Poppyjoe, my sickness suddenly cleared this week so hopefully so will yours in the next week or two.

I will also join the wonderful SPD club (or horrible painful joints that mean you have to hobble everywhere feeling 80 - yay!) along with honeybe and lilacpixie. Thanks for the info for after the birth, lostbuckaroos - good to know there is an end in sight!

Glad you are feeling the kicks, Keely, I didn't feel mine until nearly 22 weeks - so was pleased to get my 20 week scan so I knew all was OK!

Only 13 weeks to go - sometimes this feels as if its ages away, and sometimes feels like its tomorrow...gulp... :eek:
