Hi guys,
Just back from the hospital last night, can't believe a certain someone is still hanging on! Had a baby girl at 9.20 on Thursday morning - she's fine but had to stay in a few days to get back on my feet. honeybe - you'll be glad to know that it is does start to get better when you deliver. It's slow progress & I'm still needing crutches but I feel like my joints are just more unstable than painful now. I managed a natural labour after an epidural when I realised that the pelvic pain meant that I couldn't move between contractions & couldn't be examined (was in so much pain I threw up all over two midwives, my OH, the delivery suite and the bathroom. They must have loved me!). There was a threat of assisted delivery at one point but managed to avoid that with help from the midwives who were great and also helped keep the "lets just pull your legs apart" brigade away. And I got cream pie when we were done! I think it may have been a bribe!0 -

Congrats traveller - must have been blind to miss all those posts earlier.
Honeybe glad to see you've finally been given some care - about blooming time! Hope it all gets easier for you from here for you. Check out shopping centres etc to see if you can get a wheelchair from them while you're out and about to save walking too far. We spent many an hour drinking free tea and coffee in Ikea & borrowing wheelchairs for free too. They know where it's at don't they? Feel free to PM me if you need anything.
Feeling much better this afternoon - finally have the breastfeeding sorted (famous last words!). MW this morning was able to tell me where I was going wrong where loads of others were telling me all was well. At least I know I'm not nuts now!0 -
Hi ladies, congrats to those who have recently given birth!
We are going in to hospital tomorrow for the 20 week anomoly scan, excited but nervous at same time-ive been getting 'prods' in my belly which feel like baby is moving, really hope so!
