Hello everyone! I'm 29 weeks and 2 days. I finish work in 5 weeks and I literally cannot wait!!!!!!
When do you all finish work for mat leave? I'll be 34 weeks!

Well , today's the day (hopefully!) as Gemma has to ring the hospital at 8am to find out when she can go in to be induced.

Hope to be cuddling my granddaughter later on today and posting a pic of her tonight or tomorrow :j

hi cheeky. giving birth (hopefully in near future) in teh shiny new maternity unit at the ulster hospital. infortunatley everyone wants to give birth in the shiny new maternity unit and people from all over the province are choosing to have their babies there thus spoiling the fun for us who actually want to get our babies out!

awww pixie its not so good is it?
ive finally had some sleep been given co-codemol,along with the back support and crutches they are helping so i feel a little better now.they always knock me out luckily.i would suggest asking a physio for a back support though pixie once u get used to them they really do help as u cant bend in them or twist awkardly.how long do u have left?

i have found that everyone ive spoken to always asks if this is my first baby and i was thinking if i said yes would i have been fobbed off more?i think i would have been but as its my 3rd they cant really say its normal when its not so now im wanting to do something to help other mums in pain getting no help but dont know what to do.

Good luck to your daughter Sheel.RJH, is a sweep standard in your area, as i've always been over and never offered it-although from the sounds of it thankfully not.I hope little one puts in an appearance soon for you!Ifeel so much better knowing I'm off work now, although like you, I'm turning into an insomniac.
I don't expect to see little one till next week, so I'm gonna rest today then sort the house out and get prepared.Honey b I hope you don't have to suffer too long with all that.Good luck everyone:j

tbh traveller i dont know if its standard! just went as i was told and she said we will do an internal exmaination and a sweeep if thats ok with you then book you in for induction. and i was like umm ok! i dont know any better..i woudl have jummped up and down on one leg if she had told me it was best for baby! tbh she was quite short adn abrupt and made me feel like an inconvenience cause my baby hadnt popped out on time!!!
