Honeybe, literally your message could be from me. My pelvis has twisted and the pain is immense. I can't walk, sit stand or practically do anything without needing pain killers to get by. I have found co-codomol works

I'm still waiting! Daughter had another stretch and sweep yesterday and it sounds as if she's had a show this morning :undecided , but nothing else happening yet.

oh sounds exciting sheel!!! i had my hospital appt this morning and the midwife attempted a sweep and it hurt like hell! if this is what the sweep is like i hate to see childbirth!!! dont wanna do it anymore!! boohoo

Honeybe/lilacpixie, I do hope the pain eases for you both soon, I can offer nothing more than my sympathy but frankly you can both have truck loads of that!

And good luck to you rjh, I'm sure the hurty sweep wasn't a sign of things to come (and if it was well, it's too late to back out now, I hear epidurals are lovely!) :-)

Honeybe I hope that you feel better soon. Keep phoning until someone takes you seriously. I really hope that something gets sorted out for you.
Lilacpixie that really does sound painful, hope you are coping with the pain.

thanks fritha!! i was like if this is what the sweep is like i dont wanna give birth!!! i was near jumping off the couch in pain!!! felt like she was stabbing my insides with aknife. evil woman!! induction set for 14th may anyway so hopefull y iwill go on my own before then!

Rjh - I know how you feel my first sweep hurt like hell but then I went on to have a second and barely felt anything... Had gas and air during labour and this was a life saver:jGood luck

thansk for the reassurance pink!! al lthe internet stuff i read says it is uncomfotable but shouldnt hurt and im like ouch mine did. feeling very tender now and getting period like discomfort. was gonna try sex tongiht to help but im all ouchy! will see what i like tomorrow!
