Keely, try not to feel bad, just keep picturing that you can wear them on the way down then sell them on ebay and recoup some of the money back?

If it helps I have bra based nightmares as well, I have a pretty big back size and an enormous cup size (we're talking huge here, as in, if they don't stop growing I'll gorw out of the cup sizes on the high street and I'm a bit stuck beyond that!). Contrary to SB I found M&S to be awful, they fitted me far too big on the back size and too small on the cup, I found it interesting as they came highly recommended from many people! I think they were just grumpy as I'm very hard to fit! I found Mothercare to be better although by that point I fitted myself as I was losing the will to try on bras!

Try not to worry about finding ones that fit, as I say I have the most ridiculous lady bumps and even I have managed they seem to cover a very wide range, mothercare in the one bra I checked (t shirt support bra) cover 34-40 all in B-E (and just checked the one I have it has 42B and up and 44c and up) :-) M&S (again only check one bra) cover 34-38 all in B-G :-)

I just cant help feeling so down at the mo about my body as a whole, and the bra situation isnt helping. I know i should be enjoying pregnancy, and i know i putting weight on because of the baby. But im struggling to be honest. Probably just my hormones playing me up, just rang my husband who really annoyed me-part of me feels that he doesnt care, but again my normal non-hormonal self wouldnt be getting upset over silly things like bras. so basically i feel like a right miserable/moody cow, and i wonder why he puts up with me (esp when he was only trying to help but i took it the wrong way and literally put fone down on him in tears). I am on an emotional rollarcoaster this week it seems, im not down all the time-it just seems the daftest worry/problem upsets me big time. how can i stop myself being like this?

Fritha-i think i will look in mothercare-as my back size is a 38 at mo and looks as if ill need to go up another size-which m+s dont seem to do. the silly thing is-i dont look that big.

lmao @ sheel! cant believe you still waiting!!! is she being induced soon if she doesnt go naturally!

Yes , she's to ring the hospital this Saturday if nothing's happened by then.

*hugs* keely. My daughter's been on an emotional rollercoaster too. I'm sure it's quite normal . You could always buy your OH a book like THIS if he's having problems understanding how you're feeling.

Another thing is-my sisters had three kids and enjoyed-actually loved every minute of being pregnant....which makes me think im not normal. Just took a look at that link sheel posted-makes me feel less bad.

I have got two books, one of which has a section for 'dads' which was quite good. think the problem is me, not him though. To be honest hes very understanding, and tries to help all he can. But its like PMT when some things annoy you, when normally they wouldnt, if that makes sense? i dont feel in control right now!

Think a chat with my mom is needed, although she drives me mad a lot of the time, shes been very usefull pregnancy wise.

My OH (he works in payroll) says the government promised they'd pay a years SMP by the end of their term in office , but it's 39 weeks at the moment. SMP is taxable.

Eek!! I've been doing my calculations based on getting £117 a week for maternity pay. How much will I get taxed on it? Please don't say it's a lot!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. I haven't yet discussed my options with my boss, but I know I won't be able to come back to work full time.

I currently work 35 hours a week over 5 days (the normal full time job).

I want to propose 14 or 21 hours a weeks over 2 or 3 days after my maternity leave has finished.

I know this won't be practical to him as he is a one man band and I am his secretary. Does he have to consider it? Or do I have to go back to the job I was employed at originally?

I think the problem is actually hormones, I was told a very wise thing today (as I sobbed that I was normal as I'm really hating and struggling with being pregnant) if someone tells you they enjoyed every minute of being pregnant they're lying. Some people enjoy most of it, some chuffing loathe it all (necessary evil I've heard it called!) and most people bimble around the middle.

Just keep doing what you need to do and seek reassurance from anyone who will reassure you, oh and in the breif preiods when you don't fantasise about chucking stuff at your DH try and explain how barking mad the hormones are. It can help them see how it is for you (and when they need to hide/duck!)

Bras: welcome to my world Keely, I'm a 40 back size normally and a G cup! If they don't stop getting bigger by the time I have finished being pregnant I'll have to walk on all fours! Although BA does beat me I will concede (I'm impressed, congrats that woman!) Anyway, M&S definitely do a 40 back size see here, so if you want to try them don't be put off :-)
