Poppyjoe, my sickness suddenly cleared this week so hopefully so will yours in the next week or two.

Glad your sickness has stopped, I will keep my fingers crossed that I will not be too far behind you! Glad the scan went well!

I'm 11 weeks poppy and my sickness has almost gone suddenly too. Thank heavens because it truly is miserable, I had random sickness too but all day nausea which was just horrible. I've gained too much weight from all of the snacking to try and ease it, oh well. I've still got the extreme tiredness though so I'm hoping that goes soon too, I feel like a newborn myself needing to sleep every 3 hours (not that I actually get to sleep).

I have my scan today which I'm looking forward to. I'm also a bit worried. DD came home from school on tuesday covered in a rash which came up during the day. I took her to the doctor and he said it was most likely a viral thing but unlikely to be contagious. Last night my other DD came down covered in the same rash. It's most odd though, they don't seem to have any other symptoms. I'll mention it to the midwife though because I know some rashes can be dangerous for little bumps.

    Can I join?

I've recently found out that I'm expecting no 3, a surprise baby. Trying very hard to keep this news from 1 & 2 (& everyone else except OH) until I've had a scan, but it's getting hard as I want to spend most of the day attached to a sick bag or the loo. The kitchen is a no go area as it SMELLS.

Congratulations to everyone due & especially to those who have given birth recently :j

I want one that looks like that! How adorable already!

I've just had my 16 week appointment with the midwife and even though she was useless, she sorted out a few things for me. And I got to hear the baby's heartbeat which was amazing. He/she/it also decided to give me a good ole thump which came up on the sound thingie. Didn't feel it though. Can't wait till I do.

I've finally gotten around to giving my boss my leaving dates. I'm leaving at 32 weeks and 3 days. Does this seem reasonable? I do have a lot of travelling to work, so hoping it is okay. Going to make people give me their seat if they don't let me sit down. The London Underground in summer is a freaking nightmare at the best of times!

Been getting mental headaches and constipation and the midwife said I was low on fluids. So drinking like a fish at the moment. As if I didn't need the toilet enough as it is!

quote=HelenD;10763121]Goodness me - how busy has everyone been! V impressive!!

RJH - you can always come and clean my carpets if you are bored :0) Hope your waiting is over soon ;)

I will also join the wonderful SPD club (or horrible painful joints that mean you have to hobble everywhere feeling 80 - yay!) along with honeybe and lilacpixie. Thanks for the info for after the birth, lostbuckaroos - good to know there is an end in sight!

Glad you are feeling the kicks, Keely, I didn't feel mine until nearly 22 weeks - so was pleased to get my 20 week scan so I knew all was OK!

Only 13 weeks to go - sometimes this feels as if its ages away, and sometimes feels like its tomorrow...gulp...[/quote]

I got this as well from my bf last night when I had the nerve to have the tiniest whinge about something pregnancy related (can't even remember what it was now!). Well, it was your idea to get pregnant!

I woke up last night and concentrated really hard on trying to feel kicks and thumps. Think I felt a few things, but it still feels like "popping," a bit like when you get windy pops in your belly and are trying to hold a fart in. What a lovely way to describe it?!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
