  • Ok girls, have got 2 weeks left to due date so obviously thinking of names for a little squirmer ('cos she does fidget!).
I think we've decided on Erin for a first name but we're struggling with a middle name. I know you don't have to have a middle name but with me having 2 and my OH having 1 i think it's only natural to have a middle name. Our last initial is W. What do you think???

That's what my daughter is calling her baby! (her baby's a squirmer too :D )

She's going to have 2 middle names which will be Maria Lilian. Maria after my daughter's Grandma (my Mum) and Lilian after her husband's Grandma.

I love the name Erin. No suggestions here for other names though - having a hard enough time trying to think of names for Sprog!

I've read that you should wait until the baby is born to name him/her as they might not suit the name that you've picked :undecided

My daughter's been calling her baby Erin for months though , so I can't see her changing it now!

  • Isn't it funny Sheel, your grand daughter is due a week after my baby and we're thinking of the same name.....how freeky.
We'll see if the name suits when she's born and if not we'll go back to the list.
Anyway, update as promised. Midwife came today and little squirmer has moved from ideal position to back to back and she still hasn't started to engage. With only 2 weeks to go getting a bit nervous now! eek
So, needless to say her I am typing away whilst bouncing (and rotating :rotfl: ) on my birthing ball.
I've been on my knees and squatting (cleaning, or nesting as I think they like to call it) so it's not like I've been sitting, lounging on the sofa every day all day, little beggars out to get me I'm sure!
    How's your daughter doing sheel?

  • redflame. I love the name Erin but DH isn't keen on it so doubt we'd get to use it :(
I love Erin Rebecca or Erin Grace.

She had to have have yesterday off work as she had a bad case of the squits  , but is back at work today. She finishes work this Friday and I know she can't wait!

At 34 weeks the baby was in the breech position , but at 36 weeks she had turned and was heading in the right direction. She's been bouncing on a ball too! (my daughter not the baby :D )

Shame, 'cos I think it's a lovely name too. Someone else I've spoken to said Erin Grace. Has your OH come up with any suggestions if he doesn't like the name?
