MSE pregnancy club II

Hi SLscarbourogh,
My friend (a midwife) bled from 6 weeks til about 14 weeks. She called it a pocket bleed. It showed up on the scan. She was signed off work for that time. She now has a georgous 4 month little boy.

My sister bled on and off literally through out all of her last pregnancy- Holly's three now-so try not to worry too much. Easier said then done though i know!

Hugs back to you! I hate feeling like a wimp, but this flu (it is flu dammit ) makes all the pregnancy symptoms so much worse. I'm wheezing like an old woman cos the chesty cough is making the normal breathlessness 10 times worse. Then the coughing and sneezing really makes the ligaments round my bump painful - every time I sneeze it feels like things are going to snap. Just getting up and going to the loo exhausts me at the moment, which ain't good as i have to go about 3000 times a day! I knackered myself and couldn't get my breath back half hour ago and all I did was try to put a pair of socks on!

Still, at least I have labour to look forward to.

Thanks for all your support - i too am hoping that no pain is a good sign but only time will tell. Scan is at 10.20 in the morning so will know the worst then I suppose.
