    Congratulations douggie! :j

    I found out yesterday my mum went overdue by 2 weeks with all 5 of us kids! Hope I don't take after her. She had pre-eclampsia with all of us too so I'm a bit worried. As soon as I feel well again I'm going to make sure i go for a walk or swim every day to improve circulation and speed things along a bit. I've got a month to go and can't take much more of feeling like this, so certainly can't manage another 2 weeks on top!

    It's horrible when you go over, with my first I went 10 days and it turned into a daily barrage of questions about whether I'd 'gone' yet, the whole of OH's family dragged me out on walks and watched me to see if there was any sign yet, it was very silly. I've been more active with this pregnancy (due May 24th) and find everything seems to feel different. Do you know what flavour your bump is? I'm having a pink bump, I had a boy last time, he's now 4 and is happy watching power rangers on the couch.
    Congratulations :beer::j

    Hi guys,
    Congratulations Dougggie and Edwyn:T !!

    I'm only in the early stages of pregnancy but I'm interested to find out more re natural childbirth ect. I had a few op's as a child and have a phobia of surgery having to have C section. I know maybe that I will have to however, I have seen some books on amazon that claims to increase your chances of having natural childbirth through preperation during pregnancy ie yoga, breathing exercises, reflexology and nutrition. Can anyone recommend a good book on this subject? Thanks xx

    Don't know the bump flavour yet, having a suprise. Was quite active up till about 3 weeks ago, then got tired and lazy. This flu the last few days hasn't really helped matters, am dying to get out and about when I feel better. Just feel miserable at the moment!

  • Hi traveller, hope you are doing OK. I am finding that having 4 kids, it is the older ones that are the most trouble. can't remember if you said how old your other kids are. Trying to get it my older 2, age 9 and 11, to understand that i need them to pick up after themselves and help me a bit - but they don't seem to understand:mad: . Haven't been able to sit and relax at all since baby was born which is really frustrating - the house constantly looks messy and grubby - i know everyone says leave the housework, but i can't! School hols this week too so that is making everything worse. To anyone having their first baby - appreciate how easy it is! Anyway, hope your kids are better trained than mine and that your partner helps out. My OH has been slightly better than i thought he would be, but is a bit selective as to which jobs/tasks he does.

    Hope everyone else is well - well done with keeping the list up to date,
    now mum of 4!!!

    Hello everyone, newbie here!

    Just found out I am pg - about 6 weeks I think. I have a doctor's appointment on Wed, so will add myself to the list after that. Due date should be around 17th Nov.

    V nervous this time around, as I had a late m/c in December (19 wks), so fingers crossed everything will be OK this time around. Also have DD age 3.

    Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all.

    :easter:
  • Congratulations Dougggie, sounds like you both had a hard time of it.

    Also, Congratulations to Mrs Y, welcome and good luck!
