Hi...question cos I'm getting conflicting dates everywhere I look.

I'm looking at ovulation calendars as we're planning on starting ttc in July / August. I just can't quite work out what my cycle length is.
When you say it's x days, do you count the day it starts as being day 1 and the day it starts again as being day 27 / 28 / whatever?? Lots of websites seem to give different answers but don't say how they base the cycle length!!
Like if my last started March 2nd and then again today - I would have said that was a 27 day cycle...But some places count it as 26 days, others as 27.

Anyone able to give me a better idea?????

Congrats Pink Princess and Ruby!!

I am currently feeling like s*!t. I'm just 6 +3 and the sickness has already kicked in. I am so hungry but feel too sick to eat anything. How long does this go on for?

When I was at your stage it felt like the answer was forever! Make sure you keep your fluids up more than eating. I found I could eat nothing much more than crisps and jelly sweets for ages. I think most people find it dies down by about 14 weeks. As my SIL said to me, it's hard work making a baby so rest up...

well we are all still ill,my oh i had to force into having a cold bath as he was so hot he turned lobster red last night so i supplied him with cool flannels a cool sheet and cool bath.
kids have got it to son wont eat much so hes going to have to go docs again as he really isnt eating enough to sustain him and its been over a week now.
lil girl is ok shes gotten over it now (touch wood),i have a lovely sore throat.
the baby never stops moving the kicking and punching is so painful it literall takes my breath away never experinced a pregnancy like this one hes constantly right at the front of my belly day and night.

havent been on in agaes. cant believe how close to top of list i am getting. everyone commenting on how neat i am which is doing my head in cos i feeel like a whale!!! going for a full body mama mio pregnancy massage tomorrow which i am dying for and cant wait. also goiig to get my new nightwear for my hospital bag! all getting close now!!!

Can someone take me off the list please. Had scan yesterday and not good news. It wasn't a complete shock as I had been worried for a while.

Good wishes to all of you currently pregnant and give an extra hug from me to those babies due in October.

I don't know if we'll try again - but you never know.

As Lostbuckeroos says it feels like it will never stop but it's different for different women, some find it can stop at eight weeks which I found a great comfort! I was pretty much housebound with it for two months (going outside made me dizzy and want to throw up!) so I know a good few tips. Make Mr Lwcus bring you something to eat before you get out of bed, whatever you think you can stomach is best, most people find crackers or biscuits are best I found hot ribena and a kitkat a saviour!

Keep eating, or sucking sugary sweets as constantly as you can it keep your blood sugar levels up and stops you feeling as sick, and try and not let you tummy get empty if you can as that can make you feel sicker.

Above all keep drinking as much as you can stomach (but slowly!) water is best but I found that made me feel sick so I drank a lot of ribena (and coke ). If all else fails (esp if you're feeling so bad you can't drink) go to your doctor there are medcines they can prescribe that have been used for years and so are considered completely safe and they're a much better option than getting dehydrated!

Ahem, sorry bit of a subject close to my heart! Oh and get sea sickness bands from Boots, I practically never take mine off! Eeven now my sickness is waning they're still on! Hope that helps (btw I got my sickness even before my bfp, who's stupid idea was that!)
