MSE pregnancy club II

6 nights later-i'm finally back home... the loo's being fitted as i type. So glad to be home, but now ive got a load of cleaning to do (dust everywhere etc).

Will be seeing the midwife again next week for the next lot of blood tests etc-ill be four months pregnant then! Still sinking in i think!

saver raver, make sure you get to the NCT early as when i went to my first there was about 40 people in front of me and i got there before i opened. good luck, i got a nappy bin for £4. not got anymore till september.

ive been under my city hospital as ive had problems with miscarriage in the past and now have been discharged. i therefore had to contact my GP surgery today and get an appointment to book in with the midwife, however they will not make an appointment for me until i have been in with a sample. i told them i have had 2 scans and have seen the baby but they are insisting that this is done. What a complete waste of time and NHS money on doing this test. What makes me laugh the most is that im taking extra hormones so even if i wasnt pregnant it would show i was anyway GGGGGRRRRR rant over, Sorry!

Hi thanks I will. Its a 2 mile trek to the sale so I'll be setting off early. That way I can incorporate a few stops on the way, I get so breathless and I'm only 20 weeks!
I've got my lift sorted for the way back. Don't think I could manage cot under one arm / high chair under the other....:D

Well my BP was up high again yesterday (160) but no protein in urine. Today was down to 140 but protein was showing up! I can see I am going to be awkward....

I feel for you keelykat, all you want at this stage is to have everything sorted instead of having to deal with house stuff and workmen. I had no hot water for 3 weeks and no money to fix it, and every plumber/electrician drove me insane (and BP through the roof!). Hope it gets sorted for you soon.

Ruby Elizabeth made her arrival on 26th March - I arrived at the hospital at 18.00hrs and she was born at 19.25- quite a speedy delivery and was home by dinner time the next day... settling into feeding and changing and trying to remember everything from DD 14 years ago:p

No workmen in my house-just my crazy husband thinking he can take on anything!! lol..... I thought having no kitchen for two weeks was bad enough, but this is far more anoying. We switched the water back on and found a smal leak under sink, so hes trying to fix that now. The toilets in though!

Oh and my OH wont get a plumber in, as we are also now skint so lets hope he sorts this leak out!

Is anyone planning to go to the NCT sale tomorrow in Torquay?

My DH thinks I am totally mad as it is 35 miles away :eek: I missed the one in my local town and was almost in tears when we drove past on the way home from Tesco's, saw the sign, and then found out it had finished 1 hour earlier! (I blame the pregnacy hormones for getting so worked up). Have now built up this idea in my head that there are fabulous baragins to be had and that bump will miss out if we don't go tomorrow.

DH is being very unhelpful about going and suggesting that we wait for the next one in our town (September). I was almost wetting myself laughing whilst pointing out that was 1 week after bump is due - so I am hardly going to be in the mood for visiting a jumble sale :rotfl:
