  • Health Visitor arrived just as i gave on her! I dont claim to know much about baby's or anything but what a waste of time it was - telling me to keep hot cups away from the baby.

She did forget all the paperwork and leaflets so maybe thats why it was quick and boring

I didnt get all the questions you did Choc, which was a releif, in fact i think she only asked me if i was breastfeeding.
 I love my gorgeous little girl

Thanks :) Does your daughter know if she's having a boy or a girl?

    Yes , she's having a girl :j

She's suffering from lower back pain today and she has a friend who had the same and it was an infection , so I hope it isn't that. I'm wondering if it could be sciatica though as I had that when I was pregnant with her!
Same old same old since 2008

I've been telling mine for months that at 28 weeks it's going to have to start thinning and dilating - we're on a good understanding! LOL! It works because it uses similar techniques as hypnosis. I hope this helps too! xxx

I don't know if talking to your cervix does work you know?

I've had three children and have spent hours swearing at my cervix during each labour but to no avail. I think mine may be a little bit deaf perhaps? ;)

It's depressing enough with one ds and three cats ignoring me, without my cervix joining in.
Although maybe you have to be nice to it.......
Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early :D

Congrats on new babies and newly pregnant ladies!
I have six weeks to go now, am huge for me,and now very uncomfortable. Am going to punch the next person who says I have a small bump. Was kept up nearly all night (again) with low braxton hicks. Didn't have many with ds and it is now getting quite wearing. Also having problems weeing 3kids, so must be our stage. Seem to be bursting but then very little there.
Re scanning, we went to Babyscan in Portsmouth who were excellent. They are on www.4dbabyscan.co.uk.
Can anyone remember when you can start taking raspberry leaf tea?

i know what you mean Bun, people keep telling me how small my bump is. Admittedly its not huge especially for a fourth pregnancy - but it is really annoying when people comment and it's making me paranoid. Having braxton hicks too, especially at night and all parts of my body keep going numb from laying on it. not sure on the raspberry leaf tea as never had it.

Feeling a bit sore down below and i think it is all a bit swollen (TMI I know) - not helped by varicose veins. Just been to midwife who says everything looks ok - measuring 32 cm which she says is OK.

More newbies - must have been a good Christmas!!

Being nice to your cervix does help - swearing at it may hurt it feelings! Lol!

It's like anything else too - you can't just expect it to work the first time. You have to put a bit of practice in before hand (hence starting 2 weeks earlier and doing it every day).

My bump has sudenly shot out in the last couple of weeks, feel properly pregnant now. Though got a bit worried when i met a work coleague in tesco today who has only 9 days to go. She was a big girl anyway and looked huge at my stage of pregnancy. Now she doesn't look much bigger than me at all and I still have 3 months to go!

Went to my first pilates class today which was great, will definitely keep this up as it can only help matters (unlike the creamcake I had afterwards).
