  • Congratulations Slapps. Looking forward to seeing pics. is it possible to become broody looking at pics at 38 weeks pregnant?

    Welcome cluuuuur!

    Coley, as far as I know a line is a line and it means positive. Supposedly there are no false positives as you need to have the hormone in your system to produce the line (unless recently been pregnant and aren't anymore)

    I would say it sounds like you are pregnant and if you did another test in a few days the line might be darker as you have more pregnancy hormone in your system. How did the second test turn out?

    Oh my god... I posted last night that we couldn't get pregnant, and today my "pregnant" sister came, so we nipped to Asda for a cream cake and I said I'd get a test while we were there!

    Came home, and did the test... There is a faint line on the positive box.... Oh my God, I could cry... Gonna wait til I need a pee again and do the other test...

    Does it sound as though I am?????? (I'm shaking!):j
    Ooh, it definitely sounds like you are if you've had 2 positives. If you want to do another one, do it in the morning, as your wee is stronger, so you may get a stronger line.

    Congrats! But seconded, you should wait until the morning to use the other test if you haven't already...if you're getting a faint line in the afternoon, you should see a very definite line first thing as your hormones build up overnight :)

    Oh, and the shaking bit doesn't stop for a while, i'm 33 wks now and it still hasn't quite sunk in despite the pummelling inside my tummy :)

  • Hello,
    Can anyone point me in the right direction for the best newsletters/clubs/forums to join for freebies etc? Want to make sure i get all my freebies in but keep finding random websites that I've never heard of and so a little worried about giving my details.

    Thanks

    Can anyone recommend the best company to book a 4D scan with? I've made an enquiry at BabyBond already as they seem the best so far. I've been quoted £195 for the full package including the scan, CD, DVD and prints. I'm 26 weeks today so I want to make an appointment soon as apparently I'm at the best stage of my pregnancy to have the scan. Thanks in advance for any information :)
  • Awwww, congrats, coleys!!! :beer::j

    pinkprincess, I went to http://www.beforethestork.info/packages.html as I live in Merseyside. I chose the £90 package and it was absolutely fantastic and would recommend it to anyone (just seeing that my baby has eyes and a nose made me cry :o :rolleyes:).

    I would shop around a little as I think you could get a better quote somewhere else. Congrats, BTW!
