Hi

I probably shouldn't be posting on the 'pregnancy board' yet but hubby and I have just decided to start trying for number 2, dd is 2 1/2 yrs old this month. We we're going to hold off until after september/october 2008 as we've a holiday booked (sounds silly i know) but we can always bring the dates fordward if i fall preggers and its due before then.

First time around wasn't that bad really. It felt like a dream within two or three days. 5 1/2 hr labour, morphine in the beginning then just gas and air for the last hour or so. No stitches needed, had dd at 6.27am and was on the way home at 2.30pm. DD had 4 nights since birth when she hasn't slept right through. Not bead eh?

Next time.....I dread to think, I bet its the complete opposite! But once i'm preggers it'll be too late for worry and we'll just have to deal woth whatever happens.

Im pregnant with 2nd child around 16 weeks had c section with her but they say there gona try vaginal birth this time for some reason which is really making my scared does anyone else have the same problem?

I had a VBAC with DS2; I was very keen to try for a normal delivery and did everything i could in terms of optimal foetal positioning, etc. However, you don't have to try 'normal' delivery, the decision surely is entirely yours. I would have thought that the doctors, etc., might have more input if they were advising someone against trying for a 'normal' delivery.

Well hello all,
Just to let you all know that Ellie was born at 10.03am christmas day. She was the 3rd baby born in aberdeen and the 1st girl. I was due to be induced on the 27th but went naturally myself which was great. We just got out of hospital yesterday as ellie had a chest infection and was on antibiotics and in neonatal. But she is well now and a wee gem!! Will post birth story later.

Just wanted to wish you all a very happy new year.

Don't have anything to say, my pregnancy is still going strong with lots of kicking (now 26 weeks) and hubby still refusing to go for a 4D scan (I just want to see baby again!). Not having anything to say doesn't stop me popping in and seeing how you are all doing. Hope it's a good one for you all. xx
