Hey everyone,
Am still here and still pregnant!! 6 days overdue now. Saw midwife this morning, and they tried to do a sweep but apparently the neck of my womb was too far up (sorry if TMI!!). Anyway, they did a quick scan and confirmed that baby is head down (after trying to scare me saying it might be breech!).
Anyway, they have booked me in for an induction at last, yippeeee. Am going into hospital 9.15pm Thursday night, when they will give me this gel stuff. They will keep me in overnight and let it work, then break my waters on Friday morning, so hopefully by the end of Friday I will have my baby. At least I can now see an end to this, as I feel as if I have been pregnant forever.
Anyway, enough of me moaning about being overdue, have a great new year everyone!Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

carol9uk - maybe you will get away without any morning sickness this time. I am on my fourth pregnancy and only suffered with feeling sick this time - never had it with my other 3. No pregnancy is ever the same.
Anybody else get sick of people telling you not to over do it, or do too much. Who the hell is going to do all the housework, feed the kids, do the shopping, etc. if i don'tnow mum of 4!!!0 -
YES!!! I am sick of it. I am have a standard response that I am pregnant not disabled. My mum wouldn't even let me carry my sale bargains round town the other day in carrier bags even though they weighed !!!!!! all. She would have had heart attack if she had seen me last week with 4 bottles of wine and a 2lb christmas pudding in addition to my shopping!0

Yup. my Oh keeps telling me to take things easy and not do as much housework, but no-one else will do it. He would be happy to sit among filth I think!0

My husband got back sozzled from the pub last night looking white as a sheet after listening to various women's birth stories.
He had this idea that I would pop into hospital for an hour or two, cough, produce offspring and home we'd go.
Now he's had stories of 3 day labours, blood, pain, and women turning ferociously on their partners.
"It sounds like it's going to be the most horrendous experience of your life" he helpfully informed me. :rolleyes:2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0
