Luckily I had a much better nights sleep! Awake twice during the night & up around 6.30 but i'm happy with that! Been busy tidying around & now i'm off in the tub.
Midwife for me today,not sure what happen's today? Is it just a usual in & out job with the discussion of what will happen if I go over my due date? Who knows? Appointment is at 12.15 so a relaxing morning is on the cards!

This thread is so quiet these daya. I wonder if people are off giving birth?? ella_ella_ella has been missing since she went to get the 'swollen' feeling checked out - could this have been it! It's so exciting!!!!

morning girls,

thanks to whoever it was a few days ago that gave me a bit of advice on leg cramps i've been doing the ankle execises before bed and only had it once since.:j

went to see my consultant yesterday because in my midwife appt on friday she thought the baby was only measuring at 24weeks and i'm 31 so after having a scan everything is fine the baby is the exactly the right size she should be so worrying over. i still havn't finished my chrimbo shopping or done any wrapping i think i better get my bum into gear.

liley9 I'm glad the exercises have worked for you, I know they helped me when I was going through that stage.

I will add myself to the non sleepers list for last nite. I slept from 11-midnight then that was me. Out with the dog at 6.15am. I was going insane!!

hi

i was under the impression that eye tests were free when you were pregnant (using the exemption certificate card) but i went into specsavers today, and apparantly they aren't.
since i've been pregnant i've noticed my eyes are really funny (i've never ever had an eyetest and i'm 24! ) and thought i could get one for free, along with glasses if i needed them, but no!
i get tax credits, but only the minimum, so don't get an exemption that way.

is this correct??

Had to take my name off the EDD list - not sure I dfeel strong enough for the TTC list at the moment, so I'm going to lie low for a while.
Title says it all really. Scan this morning showed that our baby has stopped developing and there's no heartbeat. Going to hospital tomorrow morning where they may D&C or may give me medication & pessaries to do the same job, depending on their scan.

Can't write any more now - too many tears.

Really sorry to hear your news. :grouphug: Don't give up hope though; I had exactly the same thing happen October 2006 and this time everything has gone well so far.

Hope everything goes ok over the next few days, look after yourself and I hope to see your name back on the list soon!

Can't believe I am third on the updated list!! Feels like it is taking forever now and I am getting really impatient. Got a funny feeling I am still going to be expecting on Christmas Day, great! My Mum has this horrible vision of my waters breaking just as we sit down to Christmas Lunch!

Feel very big and uncomfortable. My blood pressure has been going up, so I am being ordered to not do very much, but that is difficult, particularly when I am just sitting at home thinking, well my living room needs a quick polish and there is some ironing to do. But if I do any of them my Husband will kill me. He will probably tell me off for doing the washing up, but I can't stand having a messy kitchen at the moment. Why has this pregnancy made me suddenly so houseproud?!
