Are we all ok today? I've just got back from visiting my friend & her 6 day old daughter,She is so tiny!! Gorgeous though.

I can't quiet get my head around the fact that some time in the next few weeks I am going to become a parent! Scary but so exciting! Any other 1st time Mum's feeling like this?:eek:

I'm not a first time Mum but I do remember when I had number one I spent weeks thinking "It's a baby; I've got a baby!" You would think the previous 9 months would have given me some time to get used to it. Actually when I was given baby numner two i think i thought again "It's a baby!" Not quite sure what i expect!!

TELL me about it. It was so funny as I turned to my hubby the other day I said 'Can you ACTUALLY see us with a baby?' and he said 'even though we have a huge bump and all this baby stuff. No I can't!' and we both burst out laughing!! I spent SOOOO long trying to get pregnant I think I kinda forgot what pregnancy ultimately leads to and now it's close it's scary and exciting and terrific and terrifying all at the same time!!

I also keep veering between 'everything will be fine we can cope with anything' to 'arrggh arrrggghhh you can't just give me a baby what the hell will I do with it I have no idea what to do help help'. I am assured it's all normal though!!!

I have a theory for all the non sleepers.................. wait for it....................... We're all just getting way too excited @ the thought of santa coming :santa2: :rotfl: :rotfl: Well to be honest my santa came in April (if u catch my drift)!!

Think it's purplegirluk back on Friday - I don't go back until the 22nd - by which time I'll be 35 weeks and able to see everything really clearly...or nothing at all!!
