We exchanged on our flat purchase yesterday!! So exciting. We should complete on 20th December and then have a month to do decorating and moving before we have to be out of our rented house. Really not looking forward to moving as we only moved into this house when I 10 weeks pregnant, but at least it will be our own place and we can stop paying other peoples mortgages!
    Baby Boy due 4/3/08

We've completed on flat purchase :D

I've not weighed myself in ages, but my boobs, bum, legs and around my face have gotten bigger :D

I really don't want to be in hospital over christmas, am being given a date on the 21st for my induction with bun being so small, i'm just sooo hoping it isn't over christmas, mind you, saying that i've not got DH a pressie yet so it might not be that bad a thing :D
I'm having bun at the hospital where i work and having to be scanned twice a week feels like i've not flippin left work :rotfl:
If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

Becky_sleaf:- I'm just the same as you. I'm only 28 weeks but have only had a couple of people apart from those who know me notice that I am pregnant. I've hardly put any weight on except minute bump. Am so jealous of other pregnant ladies.:p

When people eventually started commenting on my bump i was thrilled! :rotfl:
My Husband was always laughing at me,he thought it was hilarious!
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

    Hey all,

Well I can depress you all as well. I have only put on 10lbs and I am 38 weeks today, but I do have stretch marks all over where my waist used to be!

Very twingey and painful today. Midwife yesterday said that I am measuring bigger than my dates, so there is a chance baby could be early. Think I had my show this afternoon as well and I have been really hyper and full of energy all day, so am hoping this all means baby will be making an appearance sooner rather than later.

Am getting a bit fed up with all this pregnancy stuff and can't wait to get started on looking after my baby!

  • I'm trying to be,We're having Christmas at home just the two of us (unless the baby decides to come before then!) It's the first time we've had Christmas on our own,Usually we'd have gone to have Christmas dinner with my lot but they moved to Spain in August so that's out the window.
We've been invited to other family & friends but with it being so close to due date we thought best to stay at home.

I think you are doing just as well if you only have a couple of presents to get! :T Doesnt it feel good knowing your almost done Christmas shopping!

Yeap deff the best idea :T Friends and family will just have to wait till new year for their presents :rotfl:

Feels amazing to know that everything is nearly done and wrapped! Can't wait to get the last two and then its just a waiting game!

  • Hello everyone!!! :hello:

We had our 4D scan today!!! And oh what an awkward !!!!!! George is already. He was fast asleep and would not move for anyone and get this, he had his legs up infront of his face and was hugging them with his arms!! He looked like he was doing yoga.

We were sent away for half an hour for a walk in the home he would wake up but sadly he was still fast asleep when we returned. We did get a very cute smile out of him though and a few movements but not much. We have been booked in for another appointment on Friday at 9am, he is move active in the morning so that might help. I am really impressed that they let us go back and we don't pay until our second attempt. We got three little piccys today as well which was really nice of them.

All in all not a dissapointment as such, just a shame cos I was oober excited to have the DVD to watch tonight!! Plus we had pizza hut buffet, yum yum :T And we get to go back again on Friday!!! It was amazing just watching him sleeping. The picture quailty was just wonderful. I can't wait til Friday!!!

It must be awkward boys as mine was exactly the same; he was going to sleep and no amount of poking from the sonographer or drinking cold drinks was going to stop him. Someone else had the same with a little boy. On the other hand ella_ella_ella's little girl was a proper star and gave them a good show. Typical men!
