    Hi All,

Really sorry but this is going to be a bit of a moan. Am feeling really uncomfortable and fed up. My back keeps spasaming, my bump hurts and twinges and I have what feels like sharp stabbing pains in my 'lady bits'! Can't get comfortable at all. Feel really tired of all this now and can't wait for my baby to make an appearance, but still have over 2 weeks until my due date! Am glad am seeing midwife tomorrow, but she will probably just tell me that all this is normal and just to put up with it until bubba arrives. arrrggghhhhhh!!!!

  • Ooh dear Flis! I know what the stabbing pain in your ladies bits feels like far to well! I'm experiencing this alot, sometimes I can't stand up or walk!

I've enjoyed being pregnant but I can't wait to have the baby now. The thought of going over my due date is not appealing at all!

Sending labour vibes to all that need them! And a good nights sleep to all the others!
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:
  • hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining in, just found out i am pregnant, was a big shock, was being careful, anyway, got a thirteen old son, so a long time since this happen to me before, last time as got morning sickness but i cant remember when it started, can anyone be advise what the norm is.

    thanks
  • Hi, Carol and welcome! I have a thirteen year old son too so I know where you're coming from. I had morning sickness even before I missed a period so I think it can happen anytime in the first few weeks.

    Tammy - congratulations!

All the ladies with aches and pains - at least not long to go now. I think the last couple of weeks are so miserable to make you not be too bothered about the pain when labour actually starts - you're just glad it's going to be over.
I have a painful pelvis (especially this weekend when DD, thinking she was being helpful, pushed my legs apart) and trouble sleeping but my bump is mostly fairly comfortable as baby alternates between a transverse and oblique position and hasn't tried squashing my lungs yet.
  • I GOT SOME SLEEP!!!!:j :j :j :j

    WOO HOOO

Not much but it's there!! Obviously the obligatory getting up twice in the night to wee but still I managed to sleep and it was great.

Can't tell you what I did as I didn't do anything different. Think I may have passed out through sheer exhaustion!

Hope all you ladies get some rest soon. I have finished work now so I wonder if the pressure to get up in the morning was off so I wasn't worried about sleeping which creates that annoying vicious circle.

Just to let you all know, baby Eira Mary arrived 0620 on 7.12 (Friday). 10 days late, 7lbs 6.5oz. Very long labour, am exhausted still but she is perfect. More later when I've recovered a bit.
