Hi everyone, hope you all get a good nights sleep. I am not sleeping either and when i wake up and look at the alarm clock i am never sure if it is 7am or 1am as it is so dark in the mornings.
Purplegirluk - i am 28 weeks and know what you mean about weeing. I go before i go out and 5 minutes later i need to go again. Hate using public loos and so try to hold it as long as i can.
Have started buying baby bits now as like spending but am going to hold off til january for most bits. Can't believe how fast the list due date list is moving and how there are August babies on there already.
Been looking for maternity clothes but even ebay is expensive - any suggestions. No NCT sales near me at the moment.

Hi All,
Can anyone offer any help/advice.
Was told yesterday that baby is posterior!! I'm 38+2 and he's engaged.
From the advice the midwife gave and having a quick look on line it looks like labour/birth will be horrid if I cannot move him - is it too late now to move him.
Has anyone else had the same problem and managed to do it?
I'm mightily peeved off now!!
CheersProud to save:T0 -
Well 3 hours late the buyer turned up and not even a sorry passed his lips
I have just bought a bundle of maternity clothes off ebay, i got 8 x trousers (smart, jeans and combats) 2 x skirts, 5 x vests, 2 x tops, and a jumper, cardigan and jacket all from Next, Dorathy Perkins and Mama's and Papa's for £30 including the postage which i thought was a really good buy considering how much some of these bundles go for.
Half of the items still had tags on so you may hit on and find something.
They havent arrived yet but hopefully will today as everything i bought in bigger sizes and longer lengths from Primark and Matalan are way to small for me now as im HUGE!! I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
Choc how was the HV? they still dont know if anyone can come see me, obviously its to do with living 1000 miles away from the Clinic :heart: I love my gorgeous little girl0

Well, if you will live out in the wilderness! :rotfl:
She was fine but wanted to know the far end of everything - did I smoke / drink / take recreational drugs(!), did OH do any of those things, was the pregnancy planned, how long had it taken to fall pg, where were we wanting to move to (our house is up for sale), could I drive, did we have a car each etc etc
I popped into work yesterday and happened to see our parent support advisor. I told her all this and she said she sees it all the time and some parents are asked even more than this (Goodness knows what else!?!)!
I did find the HV a little bit patronising as well, up until she asked where I worked, I told her and she said "Oh, are you a teaching assistant?" and I replied "No, I'm a teacher" After I said I worked in a school she did treat me as if I had a little bit more intelligence (but not a lot!).0 -

Haven't had this problem myself but apparently it's qute common. This link to the babycentre website explains why it can happen and what you can do to avoid it

Hope it helps!0 -

It is as simple as this
