Well, the midwifes just been and I've had my sweep... which wasn't the most pleasant experience in the whole world but not too bad I suppose!! Just hope it blummin well works now.. oh and she said I'm 1cm dilated... which is something I suppose but blimey it feels like this baby really doesn't want to come out!
I'm booked in to be induced on Thurs 22nd so at least I know there will be an end to this pregnancy one way or another!! :rotfl:
Hope everyone else is healthy and happy:j Ellie (Eleanor) Sophie arrived 10 days late on 19th November at 8.21am. 9lbs 1 oz :j0 -
Went for 4D scan today and baby was either very naughty or very shy and didn't want to show his face. We got some photos but mainly in profile. We do get to go back in 5 weeks at no extra cost though (very MSE!)0

Hey Choc, We have FINALLY re arranged our 4D scan for next week and i cant wait. Hopefully we will get some good footage and pictures as she never stops wriggling lol:heart: I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
hey girls,
i know i still havent done my birth story, but we have just spent the last 3 days on the childrens ward at the hospital,
Dannys jaundice was getting worse and his bilurubin levels were through the roof, so he spent about 15 hours under a photo therapy lamp....
so lots of blood tests, feeding him when he didnt want it and drying the poor lad up like a frazzle under that sun lamp,
oh and not to mention the fact that it was only a week since my c section and im supposed to be resting not stressing out and to and froing from hospital means that my blood loss has gone haywire and im shattered,
he got discharged this afternoon (still a little yellow but well below the treatment level now) and then i checked back into the post natal department to get seen, but luckily the midwife took pity on me and understood that ive done too much this week and thats why ive been so rough and losing blood like ive been shot in the fanny *TMI* sorry lol
(also have a small infection around one end of my insicion  which im on antibiotics for)
knackered...
will check in soon
good luck all he newbies
hope everything is ok with the...ermm... oldbies
and a big fat bag of labour vibes for my long suffering due date buddy HOPELESS COOK who is STILL waiting while my son is now 9 days old (you poor moo)

Hope your baby is better behaved than ours!
The sonographer said he is beginning to turn round, hopefully into the head down position. For reasons best known to him (cos he's a man probably and won't ask directions) he's going the long way round. If my uterus was a clock he's had his head at 9 o'clock for ages. It's now at 11 o'clock with his feet straight into my bladder (I knew he was trampolining there!). Why he couldn't have just gone anticlockwise instead of turing the whole way round, I'll never know! Still, as long as he gets where he needs to be in the end!!0 -
Ah Curious George...I have to say that i nearly sprayed my peach iced tea everywhere then! Ha! I hope you & Danny are feeling much better today!? Sound's as though you have had a very busy week. xOur 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -

lol, this little one is still lying sideways but kind of at 8 0'clock now so i guess she sussed out the short way around.
Its good to know that you get to go back for a free scan, but i guess still a little dissapointing that he wasnt as active as he was on your first one.
I cant beleive im 30 weeks today - it really has started to go quite quickly now the end is in sight, the only thing we need to do is put our travel system together :heart: I love my gorgeous little girl0 -

That's because she's a girl - she'll go the easy, straightforward way.
I think the next 10 weeks will go fairly fast, especially when you consider the run up to Christmas is included in that. And it's something to look forward to when January is miserable!0
