Hello and welcome Nicifer_noonoo.

Well I had the midwife yesterday and baby is no longer breech but still has plenty time for more somersaults :rotfl:
I'm now measuring 4 weeks ahead so have to go back in a fortnight and if still measuring ahead will need to get a scan!! Yippee more pics :rotfl:

The count down is on finish work in 9 days!! WOOHOO!!

Congratulations Hippychick1. Lovely to hear about the quick arrival of Seren Eliza. Some of us need to keep the balance and have our babies early, otherise they really will re-name this thread:rotfl:

And tsstss7, finally we can welcome Archie. You held onto him for far too long - and what a fantastic weight. I thought my little madam was big, and I struggled to carry her, so you definitely deserve a medal !!:D Glad that he is better now, and that you are all at home together, where you should be !

Hi all,
Just wanted to say a big congratulations to all the new mums on the birth of your babys, i cant wait to meet my son now.

I apologise i haven't had time to catch up on all the posts yet but will do later, im really after abit of advice if anyone can help.

My sister had her little girl on the 8th november with some difficulties that i wont go into as its not nice to hear but my problem is when her little girl was born and they told my sister the weight which was 7lb 13 which was fine my sister was a little out of it and you believe what they are telling you well we couldn't help but notice that we thought she was really small, baby grows not fitting and nappys falling off and they were adamant she was 7lb 13 well anyway the midwife came out today and weighed her and said she weighs 6lb 4:eek: she thinks she would have weighed 6lb 13, sorry for the ramble im getting to the point lol i would just like to know if she has reason to complain i personally think she does as it wasn't a little out it was way out and she is really was upset, because she will never know what she actually weighed and has started to think that everyone will think she isn't feeding her which we know isn't true, i would just like to know if anyone knows who we complain to and how. Thanks again any help would be great.

Congrats for all recent births, far too many to list!

Just a quick update, sorry in advance if TMI! Went to hospital on Monday for my growth scan, when I got there the doctor didn't know anything about a scan and hadn't been booked for 1. She had a feel of the baby then decided to do a sweep as baby was so low. Found I was already 2cm dialated, baby is 4/5ths engaged and could easily feel the waters. :eek: Doc said would not be surprised if go into labour before the weekend! Came home and started having a lot of discharge with blood in. Foned the hospital and said to monitor it for a few hours, if any change to go in. Discharge stopped and began having contractions late Mon night about 15mins apart but only lasted a few hours.

Have started having a lot of discharge again this morning but without the blood. Have had lots of lower backache and periody-type pains since but no more contractions! Hope something else happens soon, am so uncomfortable!

There is hope for our November babies after all!

Oh and I had my growth scan. Turns out there isn't too much fluid after all just a giant !!! baby!! He is measuring as if he was at least 35 weeks when I am only 32 weeks. They arne't worried at this stage. I have another scan in 4 weeks time to see whether he evens out or if he is still large. After that I they will talk about inducing me and other things depending on what they find. He is normal thankfully and the scan pic was so so cute!!

Congrats to everyone who gave birth while the site was having trouble.

Hi girls,
sorry its taken so long but other than the first night in hospital i didnt have internet access and i havent been able to get on since ive been home due to the site collapsing again and not feeling like moving!

the stomach pain (particularly in the evening) is probably going to kill me... certainly feels like it. i think i need to do some research on c section recovery!

Daniel is absolutley gorgeous, he has a touch of physiological jaundice so is a bit yellow but other wise fine, eating and sleeping quite well etc
will write up a birth story soon, when i can sit here for a bit longer!

Hi everyone, only just managed to log on as website has been playing up.
Well after my waters broke on Friday I rang the hospital and went in. Ended up staying in as the head wasn't engaged and as waters had gone there is a risk of the cord dropping down. Contractions started about 11pm. Coped for a while then needed gas and air and then pethadine. Both of which did nothing for me and I ended up having an epidural. Wow, that was fantastic. Couldn't feel a thing :j I had a very relaxed birth it was fantastic. Had 2 midwives to myself who were wonderful and kept making my husband cups of tea !
Sophia Mae was born 6 days early on Sat 10th Nov at 10:26 am weighing 7lb 8oz. We're so chuffed its a girl as we have a 2 year old boy.

Sophia is an angel and sleeps all the time, hopefully she'll stay like that !

Congratulations to mazcabs, shazy73, hippychick1 and tsstss7 on the birth of your babies and to anyone else i've missed.

Hey all and congrats CG your boy looks so cute, i've been a lurker for a while, am 38+4days with baby #3.

Had a show last night (i am convinced my waters are gonna break in my lovely new car!!!) and saw midwife today and she says babys head is 3/5 engaged.

I was 10 days over with baby#2, hope i don't go over with this one.
I'm so impatient and very fed up with wearing the same b1oody clothes, am so looking forward to it being over.
