Congratulations Strawberrylaces, and welcome.

Nothing personal, but I really hope not to be around for too much longer.

My burning belly is really driving me up the wall. I have even put a wet face cloth on it, to try and cool it down.

Only get to see GP about it on Monday (by which time I could well have cut that section of my tummy out) ....

Argh, the complaints are going to be coming thick and fast now.

My absolutely beautiful, perfect little boy was finally born on the 24th at 2.07 pm, weighing 7lbs 5oz.

I laboured for 11 hours at home and transferred to hospital for delivery due to exhaustion from 3 hours pushing, I thought I'd be disappointed at not giving birth at home but in all honesty the whole experience was amazing from start to finish, the midwives who came to my house were just a dream and despite slight apprehension at going into hospital it was fine, everything that went on was explained to me and I felt really supported.

Somehow I did the whole thing without pain relief :cool:

We haven't named him yet, after 9 months we can't agree on anything we'll get there!

It was a good job we went to hospital in the end as the cord was around his neck, and he passed meconium on the way out so we both had to stay overnight anyway, the ward was full so I got a private room which they usually charge for, how MSE

Good luck to all expecting, labour vibes coming your way now I'm done with them!

Wow there has been so much going on round here. I cannot wait for our little one to arrive though I have a while yet. We had our 20 week scan yesterday at 20 + 6. It was amazing to see such detail. I really had no idea what to expect. The sonographer was wonderful and made the experiance so much more than the first scan we had. We have four beautiful pictures of baby, even one of his feet because she thought they were so cute! Everything is fine and we are having a little boy!!!! The only slight issue is that my placenta is a little low but she thinks it will be ok by 34 weeks but were having an extra scan to make sure. Has anyone else had this problem?

Izoomzoom you are the opposite of me my bump is freezing cold!! Maybe you could go outside in the cold with your belly/bump exposed!! :rotfl:And if it isn't cold where you stay just come visit Aberdeen!! :rotfl:

now i know a few on the bottom list have already told us thier babies have arrived, but they havent updated the list (and i dont have time to go back over the last few pages tonight... i got a date with 'phil' my body pillow! )
