PANIC OVER! here i am... lol
I would like to tell you that ive had a nice holibobs visiting bro and SILs baby,
i would like to tell you that im sat here holding my baby boy....
mind you i would also like to tell you that i dont have a single stretch mark, my chronic heartburn has gone
ive stopped being sick, i can see my feet and my f@rts smell like apple sauce.....
but it would all be lies!
sorry but its nothing more exciting than our broadband going on the wonk!
it wasnt supposed to be put back on until next week either (and i was going to have to hijack someone
elses PC to let you all know! lol) but somehow... here i am
prepare for uber-post!
Boobylou - sorry to hear your news xXx
Hopeless Cook! - if they try and give you iron tablets, ask for spatone sachets instead, it does the same job but doesnt always turn your poo black
like the tablets do!
Beakerange - i would say its something to do with your increased blood flow, it rushes to areas like that(makes sex more interesting!)
ZOOMY! - top 25? bloody hell.... bring it on, im SO ready for this to be over! (on and ta for noticing i wasnt on here complaining my giant white butt off as usual!)
Liley9 - im the opposite of you, i already have a girl, this one is a boy.... and he is also the first boy born to my family for 20 years!
spooky eh!
sadie204 - dont take too much notice of the 'big for dates' measurements, especially if they are done by tape measure...
they measured me 5 weeks ahead, sent me to a consultant the next week who measured me as being bang on for my dates!
also - you mentioned in one post about not wanting to try an epidural, i wa the same... thats the one thing i dont want... until i watched one of
those baby shows and the doc said (to a labouring woman) if your scared of the epi and how much it might hurt... then you dont need it yet,
and that made perfect sense to me! its made me rethink my whole stand on it!
fac73 - i dont iron either.... but im doing all dannys stuff today
and im feeling incredibly unsociable, i dont want to make baby small talk with any random well wisher on the street
even though thier intentions are good im SO sick of people telling me im big... ohhhhh r-e-a-l-l-y! being 8 months pregnant will do that to you, ya f**kwit!
suzukibabe - im having so much trouble reaching to shave my legs (or anything else!!) im almost tempted not to bother...
i it wasnt for the thought of all the strangers peering up my business end in a few weeks (and i dont want them hacking through a 70's afro
to get to the baby! lol)
justkeepswimming - CONGRATULATIONS! i love that 'this is what we wanted and im happy but oh my f**king god what have i done' feeling at the start of pregnancy!
septemberbaby & agutka - thanks for noticing i went awol! (im special too! lol)
SB - got my fingers crossed for you xXx
Renstar - congrats, (although jumping ahead of me is frowned upon round these here parts....)
3kidsnomoney - i havent been able to get enough air for months! it really does my head in and it makes my OH panic!
bun & loopy-loo73- congrats on joining team pink!
jmarco and wife - congrats to you too, 31st may 2000 was my DDs due date (she was 2 days late though!)
mickeyme - i hardly used my maternity gear in my first pregnancy, but ive been in it nearly all the way through with this one!
so you never know! most of my pre preggo t shirts and jumpers fit (but i look a bit like homer simpson) so...get a couple of good pairs of MAT jeans and some comfy jimjams!
oh and welcome to the list (lower than me on the list... this pleases me)
Ophie - god, i dont know what to say, im so sorry....
you were so close too, i hope your alright xXx
rince - my mother lives 2 minutes up the road from my hospital and thinks she will be there as soon as i announce im in labour
so....since hearing this ive decided she will get a phonecall to tell her the baby has arrived!
everyone ive missed - i hope your all ok and pootling along nicely
im fine, excpet for the heartburn... sickness and the fact that it feels like ive broken my wrist (doc says its the start of arthritis!!!!! i say its preggo hormones messing with me... but we shall see)
Danny is swimming around in my womb on borrowed time now, ive had ENOUGH and proactive self eviction starts soon!
good to be back :T0 -

Welcome new expectant people and welcome back CG!
SeptemberBaby - my friend who was due the same day as you had her baby girl this morning (correctly sexed, hurray) so hopefully might get the ball rolling. She had changed her mind and ordered a tens machine after all, to arrive this morning! We thought that would do it.
Bargain alert (for those slightly further away from D-Day) -discovered New Look's maternity range today. Was after some vest tops to go under shirts and things as mine are now too short and bigger size ones just hang off my chest, and in Mothercare they are £14 £4 in New Look (double lined). And their jeans are £12! The only other shop I had that didn't require catalogue ordering was Dorothy Perkins, so mightily impressed.
Also bought a tinsy pink cardy and a pink bunny for Bubs - first things I've bought but needed to cheer myself up. Very odd owning something pink!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0 -

No news from me yet, i have been out shopping with a friend all day, may well have overdone it, as now i'm sat down, i don't think i'll ever be able to get back up.
My friends baby is 4 months old, and i was carrying her for a while, you should have seen the strange looks i was getting, do people honestly think its possible for me to have a 4 month old and be this pregnant??....some people are so thick.
I'm really hoping that baby is going to get into gear and decide to make a move tonight, i am soooooo large and my belly is soooooo tight it hurts.
Hope you're ok sb, and hope yours starts to get into gear to. I have a friend who was due to be induced today with her 1st baby, hope its going ok for her too.
Loads of labour vibes being sent to anyone who wants them.;):)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

hey preggy brain!
re-read!I havent been anywhere, my broadband went on the fritz!
i had no way of warning you... terribly sorry, wont happen again(and if it does i will send out the carrier pigeons!)
SIL and bubba are home and doing fine, which is amazing considering my mum was staying with them for a long weekend...
dunno how they coped with that!0 -
Grrrr. Just had my 40 week appt with the MW (T+1 she called it) and NOTHING! I'm perfectly fine, but the bubs isn't even engaged!! I have no hope. So I'm just booked in for a few 'what next' chats next week with GP and hospital.
I am now aiming for the 10th OR the 7th... (I wrote all the dates down this morning and they are the ones I like best).
Why does IT hurt so much if the baby is just 'on the brim'??:wall:0 -

Doh...:rotfl:. Speed reading is not advised for overdue ladies!
Ah, lovely news for your friend, Bun! Now surely it has to be my turn sometime very soon?!
Hope you're OK, Jojo. I go from having lazy days (like today) to being full of beans...
