  • I was BLADDERED whe week before I found out i was pregnant. Honestly. I was told I couldn't concieve natrually and went out and got off my face being sick all next day taking tons of painkillers drunk on 14th April. Week after I went out with some old school friends and was downing double vodka till 2am and was delicate and more painkillers next day. Then on 28th I found out I was pregnant. I was worried for a while but everything seems to be going along nicely now and all scans have been normal. Try to relax if you can as being stressed makes it worse. Even though I know how difficult this is chances are you are totally fine.

I hope the crash wasn't too serious though and that you recover quickly.

    :p i am still here!!!

just been out all day shopping with mum. didnt sleep a wink last night in fact was on here at 1 am reading posts! couldnt type as didnt want to wake OH, how considerate of me :D

my feet are so swollen they kept me awake all last night throbbing and tingling is that normal? as some of you know i have been blessed with unswollen feet and have been doing lots of walking etc up to this last week when my feet have inflated and even flip flops are too tight ..?? is it just cos im nearing the end or should i get BP checked, my MW doesnt work fridays and i dont wanna bother the unit if i dont have to
  • Just catching up with the thread and I was convinced Emma would have some news until I just read the last post!

Emma if putting your feet up for a good while doesn't help the swelling go down at all then it might be worth getting checked just in case, rather than waiting over the weekend.

Been shopping with my mum here too and got the car seat crossed off the list, and a zillion other bits and pieces that my mum thinks essential, bless her. My plan is to put all the baby stuff in one place (I have been saying that all week and still not done it) and then I can concentrate on packing a house full of stuff. Or, at least, telling other people what to do :)

Sorry I forgot to add, congratulations rjh! I got very very drunk a few times between conception and pregnancy test (and it was only two weeks) and everything is fine, so please don't worry yourself too much - but, prepare for months and months (and years, I suppose) of worrying about everything regardless of what anyone says... :D
  • Well, after waiting in all day, my MW calls and says she has reviewed the results of yestersays tests and bloods and has cancelled my home visit as all appears fine! :j . She has now arranged for the CMW to come out tomorrow instead, just to be on the safe side, so yet another shopping day lost :rotfl:

emma my feet are the same, my last pair of flip flops snapped yesterday and I am now wearing OH's because there is no way shoes are going on my feet. I find that putting my feet up at night really helps, you could soak them in some cool water if there really hot, that sounds so tempting to me at the minute because it is so bl!!dy hot up here in Scotland for a change.

Oh I so can't wait to wear heels, or shoes, or nice clothes.................:T
They took my signature away!!!!
