Also have managed to persuade OH to take me to M&S tomorrow for maternity bras, I really hope they have them reduced. Was talking to my neighbour and the sale is still on because she got a gorgous pair of dress trousers reduced from £49 to £4. If no bras they may have baby stuff at least!!

wish i did have some news, i must have tried every trick to get the labour started :rolleyes: i tried going to lloyds pharmacy as they do BP checks there for free but they wouldnt check me cos im pregnant, which i did expect tbh. was worth a try though!
i have spent the last two hours reading a book and eating ice lollies wont be much chance to do that once baby here

if there are no bras at M and S try mothercare i got mine half price two for £12 = £6 each which isnt too bad i didnt think? how many should i have i have got two?

I've bought two support so far and three feeding, want to get another two just so I have enough (my washing basket overflows daily with three kids already). I keep going through mental lists of everything I need, I really think I have everything but I am guaranteed now to realise something major has been forgotten as soon as the baby is born. I know that my mum and mil have both got rakes of stuff for baby aswell. I don't think my mil expected any more grandchildren at all so she is really excited and has gone daft!!

Emma you should get yourself a pedicure or something booked and really make the most of the time before baby arrives. I can't remember life before kids now, but I can vaguely remember being shell shocked at how much my life changed after my first. Things like nipping to the shops for milk became a marathon effort between feeds and nappy changes, its all soo worth it though. Wouldn't change my family for the world.

i had an afternoon at spa/beauty salon two weeks ago it was lush! cant afford another one though unfortunately!

Congrats! Have the bride phone the shop immediately, I've been having this conversation with a bridal shop recently as I'm ttc. Lots can be done about it if there's a little time (which there's plently of). Maybe it's not been made yet, and they can transfer it to another style. (Yes they do do maternity bridesmaid dresses). Worse comes to worst, the shop I was in said they charge you a third of the original dress, and allow you to order another. So it should work out ok one way or the other. But get straight on it (as if you won't have enough to think about!)

Well, after my early miscarriage in March, I am now 16 weeks gone (well on Monday). Not doing too well on the stress -level front though as we've had some bad family news which is likely to continue for some time, but thankfully I had two scans over the last few weeks and Bubs seems to be ignoring it so I'm sure all will be well. Congrats to everyone else on the list and good luck to the imminent mums!

Just had a friend on the phone. He OH's suprise 30th is 20th October, major panic now lol, I need to lose probably about two stone and find something to wear with what will be huge boobs (breastfeeding!!) before then. That gives me about 4 weeks after baby is born lol.
