Hi I'm newleafer and I am 7weeks pregnant with my first, I am 31 DH is 33 and we have been married for 10yrs in oct, we have our first midwife appoinment today, I am really excited, as I feel like its a little bit real now.

Any suggestions would be great of any ind included money saving as we are in up to our necks, but I'm trying to stay positive and not worry about it.

Have booked a 4d scan for the 30th August to hopefully find out whether we are having boy or girl (well that's the excuse I gave dh) It's awful tho - finally getting some decent summer weather adn I can't wait for the end of August:rolleyes:
We're going to Beforethestork in Liverpool - I seem to remember someone else had been to them? Hopefully all good?

Just a quick question, anyone else suffering numbness in the fingers/hand in pregnancy? Saw gp today who says is ulnar nerve entrapment, can be caused by fluid around elbow in pregnancy, has advised me to be referred to physio for hand/wrist support. Good thing is, unlike everywhere else, its not painfull, just annoying!

Anyway, 27weeks done, only another potential 10 to go :eek: (c.section bout 37wks as twins, and have had 2 prior sections). Have also been very MSE with this section and asked for sterilisation at same time, to save nhs having to snip hubby, ha ha!!:rotfl:
