This is going to be unpopular.
Rose, the CEO doesn't give a flying f..eck about your pp,apg or bm voucher, nor whether it compared v anyone, he/she has bigger fish to fry.
TBH Rose, I think you have let greed take over sense.I am not young enough to know everything.0 -
Afternoon all,
A trip to T's earlier to use a few coupons
Tesco HH £5 off 40
Sains £4 off 20
Tesco PP £10
TOMS £4
Bavaria £1
Tresseme £1.20
Cat litter £0.50

£35.70 in vouchers.....the SA was stunned
and I got a £9.14 PP back
I did have to pay just a few quid for my shop though - Total before discounts £68.87
And a quick stop at S to pick up 2 x stainless steel flasks at 25p each. Thanks to the OP for that.

No tax, No mot.
What about insurance DM ?
Also looking at car prices on gumtree.
A 2.2 diesel auto or a 3.2 v6 petrol auto ?
The diesel is more expensive to buy and to fuel but does more mpg.
The petrol is cheaper to buy and fuel but does less mpg.
Over 5 years which equates to the better buy on 5000 miles a year ?Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Do totally agree with the principle of this from an individual perspective. But uncomfortable to follow that line collectively - very British thing, not being able to compalin constructivelyHappen to think this is one issue that will run the course, so an issue worth pursuing. I suppose there a self-protectionist argument not to rock the boat so that the PP promotion (no matter how flawed) does not get pulled. But the investigation is already happening, and for ASA to be involved would mean that there are major and systemic breaches.

Very happy to agree to disagree on this one0 -
I do mostly do seperate shops that's why I keep getting these ridiculous slips of paper saying I have saved ridiculous amounts.
[...]
Reading back, such a lot I want to reply to in the last couple of hours:mad:. In no particular order - those "ridiculous" slips of paper are there for the average customer, who mixes their shopping in one lot and pays way over the odds on some items but makes a saving on others (compared to the exact same size of the product elsewhere) and way way too much on items that aren't comparable, with the comparable part of their shopping cheaper than elsewhere (since they picked up what looked like good 'offers' in the store they were in), when in fact had they picked a different size, that was on half price elsewhere, and compared vs that, they would have saved far more.
However, the customer can be told they have 'saved' so much shopping where they have and thus - as they 'know'* they are saving money at that chain - return to buy (and probably pay over the odds again) at the same store. Most people just 'haven't got the time' to be shopping as we do and, if they did, I'm sure those promise promotions wouldn't stay in place how they do. (*or the term is "are reassured").0 -

You will get a reply if you copy in the CEO Rose, he has a whole office full of people sorting just this kind of thing out for him. I had a similar occurrence and got 15.00 giftcard, although they still could not give me any explanation as to why what I bought came back N/A. Even the promotions manager and the 'PP specialist' don't understand the terms and conditions! Keep calm and persist. XXX
No doubt the minions will hand out a giftcard, point i'm trying to make is, greed.squilliondollarbaby wrote: »He cares.

He cares about the boil on his neck and the share price when he can exercise his options.RootedNomad wrote: »Do totally agree with the principle of this from an individual perspective.
