This is going to be unpoplur.
Rose, the CEO doesn't give a flying f..eck about your pp,apg or bm voucher, nor whether it compared v anyone, he/she has bigger fish to fry.
Have to disagree with this
The board at T are extremely interested in this - OK, maybe not Rose's particular PP, but most definitely in the question of the integrity of their PP promotion as a whole. If it is shown (and the big boys are pursuing claims for this) that the promotion is flawed and misleading, not only could T be made to withdraw the entire marketing promotion (think of the costs ), but they will be left with egg on their faces - it will call into question their entire pricing integrity and the supermarket wars are all about pricing integrity.
And if the punter in the street legitimately knows it is flawed, then I do think that should be pssed on. All complaints will be logged and the ASA will ask to see a record of all complaints. If it were just the occasional hiccup, then no. But this is wholesale systematic duping and misleading and I don't think it is OK for T to trade on this basis. Hope ASA finds in M or S favour.0 -
How come you have time off
Should you not be sorting the Stubby household out rather than idle gossip on here
Get a sunday afternoon sit for a [STRIKE]siesta[/STRIKE]/go shopping with DD3 but she has gone to London this weekend with DD1. So having a little me time but you are right I really should be doing something a bit more constructive.0 -

I suspect, on the gammon, that's because Sains. version is outside the 10% weight limit. Remember(!):rotfl:, MSM shows prices for equiv. products that are up to 50% weight difference but, on APG scheme, they are (supposed to be) only comparable if they are within 10%. (I say 'supposed to be' as, last week, the SP Cornflakes were comparing to M's even though A is 750g and M 500g.)
The Old El Paso - I think this does mean something...
Trigger!!!!:j
A trigger is where you combine a missing item, that's on sada.com/instore, with one that is on MSM and in the same multibuy offer instore (and the one on MSM comparing to another supermarket with A not 10% cheaper) - result is the multibuy is paid, but the comparison excludes the trigger (the missing item which 'triggers' the multibuy), compares full price on the other item and gives to 10% cheaper than the competitor's price on that. The trigger, however, doesn't count as one of the 8 different items, so you need an extra item in your shop.
Hi folks - I'm going to go through and check to see if I can find a wine glitch...
What I don't get with the gammon is that if you shop via A select the gammon and it comes up with a list of other shops and how much they are there - and this is the info I based my shop on....if there is a weight difference it shouldnt compare on MyS (in my opinion) as it leads to confusion, it should be listed as a desperate item?
However I wasn't aware if the % thing so thanks for that :-)
That's what I thought about Old El Paso....I do like their stuff so think I'll have a more in depth look at that after my nap!
I'm so excited that I may have picked up on something!
Hope this also helps someone else!Dream of being mortgage free....

I can't believe how many of my shops are coming out £16/£20 cheaper when I go whoopsieing, I'm sure their terms and conditions state they should not be included, definitely not a fair comparison.0 -

The underlings are employed for those reasons RN.
Much like simple servants supply info to ministers.
What their bosses do with the info is another thing.
The P.R department are usually involved.
Put anotherway.
All the supermarkets sold us horse meat.
People still buy burgers from supermarkets.
Price integrity, and the word supermarket cannot be used in the same sentence with any credence.
If their advertising were to be believed, we would never find products that glitch, or compare, given than Asda guarantee to be 10% cheaper !
Nice work on the glitch finding RM :cool:Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

it does say in the t&c's that they dont compare whoopsied stuff but they do. Always put these in a seperate shop. I have complained about it and was told they would pass it onto the relevent person and others have complained and I think got gift cards.0 -
Ok can you be constructive and explain "bilge" to me, have read back a bit and I am none the wiser. :eek:Sorry must have missed that:cool:
I used to read every post but can't keep up now especially since were getting 15-20 pages of bilge posted over night, I just have to skip!;)
