Just popping in to add my bit of bilge. Rushing off for whoopsie in 2 seconds. My view on the above-

It could mean, if you buy it in A, the computer could recognise it and compare it against S since it is on MSM, albeit only on the S side.

(However, this is how it is on MSM in your area. It may be, like the purple wipes yesterday, it was NA for A in some areas but other people had it as showing for both A (and in the offer) and S on their area.)

Or it could mean it turns up N/A as it thinks A is OOS (even if you've managed to buy it).

I've had both these alternatives happen to me in the past - and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any pattern as to which it results in. I've managed to buy Mr Kipling Apple & Blackcurrant Pies in A when showing OOS for A - one occasion, it appeared on the comparison and gave 10%, the other occasion it failed to appear.

Plus I bought Fox Glacier Mints once (when I was a little careless and not looking to trade-down to S'price) - they were on a.com in my area, and on MSM when logged in, but no trace at all when logged out. Despite not showing logged out (which you may assume is the 'nationwide' picture), it did appear on the comparison as it was on MSM (logged in for me, my 'local' picture perhaps) - I'd assume anyone who bought it, even if it was absent both logged in and out for them, would have it compare - as previous glitch items (I recall the Vaseline Bag - shut up Savvy we're sick of hearing its mention:rotfl: - I had it on my MSM, it worked, as a substantive item plus a different item acting as the trigger, even for those who couldn't see it or who saw it but saw only N/A for A, whether they were in or out).

I have both Dove Men+Care Shave Gel Sensitive+ (200ml) and Dove Men+Care Shave Foam Sensitive+ (200ml) showing on MSM for me, whether I'm in or out, and showing in the offer for A. Mush dash - will probably again come to nought!
