Everyone Looking Into Trolley Excitement

I had a " not enough items " receipt yesterday even though I had
10 , all of which have compared before.
I didn't think it was worth complaining as I would only have got about £3.00 and I paid for the shop with a large apg from the cheese glitch.
I am quite happy with my full cupboards and fridge so don't want to rock the boat.0 -

I could do with one before the start of parents evening then0 -

I know they are awfully addictivebut thankfully this pain I have should only last another 24 hours so only short term use required
Is a definite bonus to have access to decent analgesia whilst I need it though
I've had to put up with it every other cycle; every cloud and all
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Theres seem to be a real lack of 'taking it on the chin' when things don't go to plan lately. There's not a day goes by without people ringing up to complain when things don't go their way. We all know the system isn't perfect and are quite happy to benefit when it's wrong in our favour. So why complain when it goes wrong the other way? Either take the hit or take the goods back I say. Not aimed at anyone at all just my two pence worthI am not young enough to know everything.0 -
I was trying to read the back of a jar of curry paste last night gave up and had to find my readers
Just wait till you are sitting in the bath and have to put glasses on to read whether the bottle was shampoo or conditioner and they steam up with the heat like I had to do today now that's a pest0 -
No money back no guarantee :rotfl::rotfl:
I've had a Freelander for 11 years now.
Maintenance isn't to bad unless it's major, which luckily i've never had to deal with.
And I've got a 17 year old badass Toyota 4WD that runs smooth as but the key point is both our trucks were built much more simply than newer diesel vehicles.
Diesel is inherently filthy, polluting and harmful to health.
So the EU introduced a load of regs in the last 10 years to reduce the bad stuff but we are still in early days as regards the reliability and maintenance cost of the various mechanical bits.
You'd have to be rich or crazy to buy (say) a 5YO+ year old diesel IMHO (unless it was dirt cheap) though 10-12YO+ makes sense again.0 -

I remember when I bust my arm in 3 places skiing in Austria and they stuck in a pin like a knitting needle through my shoulder all the way to my elbow plus 3 bleddy great big titanium screws, black & blue after the op plus all puffy & painful: I asked for the happy pills every time I woke up lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::cool:0 -

Would put you on the same wave length as most of the parents :rotfl:
@ ds's school just before easter break, a 10 y/o old boy, was excluded for waving a kitchen knife around in the play ground, threatening other pupils.
ironically it was the same little basket that i shouted out the day before, after he threw his football in the road then chased after it with out looking, i should have slapped him across the head on the spot ! ( guess who got told off during parents evening for that !!!)
( I answered simply, " better a rollocking from me, than a call from the emergency services saying he'd been killed by a car". )
the school don't want to talk about it, and never said a word to any of the parents about what happened, we only found out from the kids, and the teachers are tight lipped :mad:Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0
