afternoon all :) i had a lovely shop today :D split all my shopping into 5 lots, with 5 lots of toiletries amassing £20 before bogof each time... My TOTAL for the lot came to £300.... i paid 60p :T:T:T:T :) and no i didnt use my clubcard this time around!! ;)

    5 shops, each has £20 hb before bogof, so 5 x £20 = £100

    why £300?

sorry, just playing with maths and not understand the sum

Had to go to CS desk last night as had bought the wrong kind of lightbulb and needed and exchange.

I normally avoid the CS desk so as to keep a low profile but glad I went this time as while exchanging the light bulb, I spotted a nice pile of SB booklets so naturally a few ( a lot!) fell into my open and waiting shopping bag :D

well if they were there calling you it was only fair to take them :rotfl:
very impressive sig! Glad you have stuck to it! give yourself a sticker or 1000 from the quit packs!!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

Quick question for all you pros!!!
    Which coupons work with make-up???
I have SB H&B and new Quit

    Thanks everyone

On make-up you can use the £2.50 So Beautiful & H&B, plus the Quits, but not the £1 H&B as they don't cover "beauty". You can also use the points coupons with the H&B.

thanks for all your replies:T i think i will take one receipt in and see what they do, if they scan it or not to put the points on and then maybe i will just have forgottem my clubcard a couple of times a month;) and have the points put on manually. one thing i have noticed is that when i have taken anything back for a return they do not scan the receipt and they do not remove clubcard points either, even when i have handed over my card to have them removed! obviously not too concerned about their points.:)

    Hi Kerry,

Yes they do still scan today (any spend). Just come back from Mr T and got £20 shop down to 30p  (only one £6-er though; didn't like to push my luck!).

hi ! ;) just thought id say that my sons girlfriend has just been and she works on the checkouts, apparentley when they sign onto the tills it now tells them that they can only accept one clothing voucher and only if they have purchased clothes .. so not sure to try anymore.:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I am always very pleased to get a few things cheap or even free from Tesco by using multiple vouchers. This website is also a fantastic resource of info and without it I would not have known half the tricks and tips....HOWEVER....I do feel that if I get a good shop and manage to get a 'lot' of free stuff (whether it be clothes or toiletries) it might be best to keep that amount and info to myself.

The more people writing on the forum about what they got for free and in particular the amounts (which in some cases is considerable) will quickly lead to Mr Tesco realising this is a problem he needs to fix/sort pronto.

I would only ask that for the love of vouchers that people PM each other about their wonderful shops as otherwise we may not have a voucher system much longer as it will go the way of R+R ...

Sorry to appear to moan but trying to help everyone in the long run by stating this request...

Well I hold my hands up I have just shopped in Waitrose and rather nice it was too. I am rekindling my ebay shop and will be looking at things non-tesco related and focusing on other projects too.

I could go on and buy endless amounts of h&b but there does get to a point when I have reached saturation point and I really think I have got there.

The last few weeks of ordering and having tescos delivering my groceries and gaining 1,000 points has been rather nice and far less time consuming than I originally envisaged.

So for the time being - Hwyl fawr am nawr
