I have been doing H&B vouchers a wee bit recently and found the friendlier you are with the staff the easier it is to get vouchers accepted. I use SB £2.50 ( have quite a few) + h&B £2.50 (running out) plus 2 x Quit £1.25(low), so I get some free shopping. I found that you must not pass over vouchers that are repeated, for example 2 QKs together as till seems to put up error message, so mix them up. Also I act pre-occupied with packing when they scan them.
    Hope this helps newbies

in my opinion, i think this voucher new policy is better, it has took away the 10 percent !!!!!! on your shopping to what ever vouchers you have you can use, so with a couple of tesco ones and some moc's shopping can still be a good thing at tescos. I still don't hand over my cc all the time on very rare occasions now, i'm saving more in the long run than the points are worth ;)
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

I'm not so sure about that - the points wil be registered to your clubcard and tesco could pull up all the details of each transaction if they were so inclined. Given the sheer volume of business its unlikely Tesco would bother to do that UNLESS you did something to draw attention to yourself - in my opinion (and it is only my gut feeling), spending only a pound or two in actual real money nearly everyday but amassing hundreds of points each week is quite likely to result in the eye of the vampire being turned in your direction.

I do use my 2 cards one or twice each week but the rest of the time I settle for nearly free shopping and, regretfully, miss out on the points. I followed the same pattern in the good old days of R & R and I really don't feel its worth taking a chance cos if Tesco turn nasty on you, you may well lose the lot and also get yourself banned. I may well be paranoid - but just cos I'm paranoid that doesn't mean Tesco's aren't out to get me !!!

but Tesco would not know the transaction details as the person at customer service would simply be putting on the points to my clubcard as i will have forgotten to bring it with me when i shopped;) they would not be recording the transaction details just adding on the points, there would be nothing for them(at h/o) to bring up.

oh i don`t spend a pound or two i do two big shops a week and get one or two £10 beauty spends within each, with 6 of us in our house these shops still add up to over £80 each time, however if i did just spend a pound or two in each shop surely i would only get the same amount in points put on:confused: or do they do it by spend before discounts and coupons:huh: but with my shops they would still be putting on £80 of points each time even if my bill came to £60, so i dont think there would be any suspicion, i am too chicken to go in multiple times and just do beauty shops that amount to nothing anyway:)

If only life were so simple

Although i have seen this happen, where the SA has manually added up the points and then added them to the card without using the receipt barcodes...it isnt the "norm"

Nice answer, no paranoia there at all.
