Thanks manda - are you following me around helping me or something? :rotfl:

I think the problem in my head is as we are on such a limited budget at the moment we are buying literally the bear minimum (a little bit of value/basic range meat, some value/basic range large potato/onion etc veggie packs, value range toms and beans etc, cheapest milk and cheapest 3K for £1 bags of pasta) and no tolietries at all, so if we used the vouchers we would be spending more than we would if we didn't (if that makes sense) using the example in the first post. We literally aren't buying soap/shampoo etc etc at the moment - are ekking out stuff we had from when times were good, so the luxury of buying anything like that is a bit hard to comprehend at the mo lol.

If we can use these vouchers def. in Tesco without having to buy the product we'll give it a go, but if it's as hit and miss as it sounds we simply can't chance it incase they refuse them and then we literally don't have the notes on us to pay for the shopping:eek:

Will continue to study the forums I think and maybe try it next weeks shop (we go on a Sat night as this seems to be the best time for reductions :D )

Oh, PS, thanks for the coupon/voucher thing - thought that might be the case...gotta brush up on my lingo :D
Do not feed the trolls please.

    Pixiepie,

Sorry that things are so tight for you just now,I hope things get better soon.I am sure you will get loads of help and support on MSE.:grouphug: (very dodgy looking group hug!)
I am very new to Tescoing (is that a word..well it is now LOL!)
If you check the first couple of posts there is an example of buying shampoo where it ends up that Tescos pay you over £4 to take 4 bottles away!
Well it takes £4.xx off the rest of your shopping .If that worked for you ,then you'd get £4 of groceries free and 4 shampoos.
I am no expert but I am sure the experts would help you get the most out of any coupons you can get your hands on!
Coupons and voucher are much the same to me too!:rotfl:

Can't believe people are asking £15 on ebay for 500 worth of points! And people are paying it too!

We've noticed this with all sorts of things over the last couple of years - probably legal due to their big lawyers, but certainly shaky if you ask me and borderline :(

LOL, thanks Dot - That hug always makes me laugh lots :rotfl:
Things will pick up soon I know, it's just a bit tight at the moment - am going to study the form and see about attempting it next week- think I'm just paranoid to get to the till and not have enough money, but at the end of the day a) we shop at quiet times so wouldn't be hassle for someone behind us (as there's noone there lol) and b) would just have to say 'ok, can we put all that back then please' :D
