I don't know if anyone remembers me mentioning I had bought £100 worth of £1 vouchers and only had 8 days to use them in... well I now have 34 left and still 4 days to go :D

I knew I would have to use the majority of them over the weekend to take advantage of the student cashiers (that doesn't sound quite right does it!) so toddled off to my local one. I had minimum success and managed to use 10 over 2 shops but it also cost me £10 for the other stuff I had bought that I didn't really need so not a compete success really :o

I then moved onto an out of town superstore and hit the jackpot :T (insert Hallelujah Hallelujah sound effects here :j )

Hubby wanted a few cds that were on offer so I thought I would chance it as even if I couldn't use the vouchers, I wouldn't be any worse off as he did actually want them and I wasn't just buying for buyings sake. Found the sweetest young lad and split the shop into 2 on the belt, with the dearer stuff on the 2nd shop so it could be discreetly ditched if he refused my vouchers (yes I know its sneaky!) but all went well, shop came to £20 and he accepted everything I gave him and ended up paying 49p for it all!

Second lot on the belt came to £45 but by now I knew he would take the vouchers so wasn't worried :p same again, scanned everything I gave him and got it down to a very low amount! :rotfl:

I had my son with me and he was amazed at what was left to pay. We went to the car and dumped everything and I was going to go home but like my son said, its too rare to find someone like this so we went back in again...:rotfl:
I checked to make sure he was still on his till and then went and got the things I wouldn't normally buy, just in case I got refused, it was amazing knowing you could practically have anything in the shop you wanted and would have to pay very little for it. :D

Went back to him with a multitude of lovely things and he was great once again, by now my poor voucher purse was looking a bit depleted but I gave him almost everything I had and he scanned them all without even looking at them. Paid very little and walked away a happy lady :D

One thing I also did was to buy 10 of the Real people mags every time I went in as this way I was replacing my £1 close to expiry vouchers with £2 long expiry vouchers, fabulous!

My only regret was leaving 45 of the £1 vouchers at home as I didn't think I would need them...

Wonder if hes there again next saturday? :j

I have lots of coupons from the quit smoking packs but cannot find any H&B or SB leaflets.(Oh look! I am learning the lingo:rotfl: )

Does any kind soul have any to spare for an SAE please?

I know its cheeky asking when I am so new but I am desperate to start:rotfl:

From previous posts where do you get £1 coupons from and what are they?

What coupons were/are in the Daily Mail?

    Thanks in advance:beer:

13,900 worth of Clubcard points I make it,it may ring some bells at Tesco though be careful.
Traded in at 4 times the value 55,600,thats worth some freebies from the Clubcard deals

Shall we set Leadhead a challenge of using all the 50 points up by the time they expire ??

gruber, youve been here a while...you know my views on using a Tesco Identity Card(clubcard)..............especialy when one has a "national ban"

and i think bassman was referring to the ebay value mentioned ealier

Thats sounds a much better proposition for me.

    278leaflets x 50points = 13,900

    13,900/500 x £15 a go = £400+

    Yes ebay here we come................................lol

    Only jokin.......havent resorted to that..........................yet
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

The usable coupons in the quit packs are the £1 plax(off plax) the 40p colgate(other toothpastes), the £1.25 t and b and the £2 healthcare.

The best way to use the £1.25 is in conjunction with the new HandB leaflet.

Over the weekend i have used numerous of these 2 at a time on a £10 T and B shop..................and used in conjunction with the £2.50 HandB and 2 of the £1 toiletry H and B.........effectively giving me £7 off my £5 (after bogof) bill

In conjunction with these, I have used the £2 quit HC and 2x £1 HC(H and B leaflet) to get £4 off £4 (after bogof) Healthcare.

If you only have the Quit coupons, you are always going to be spending money(I don't like doing that), as there isn't enough to cover your total.

On a £10 (before bogof) B and T spend you could use, 2 x£1.25 a 40 p Colgate and a £1 plax...but as these aren't on bogof, the total doesnt reduce to half ..so would still cost you money

The £2 HC on its own would get you £2 off a £4 after bogof spend...

    Hope this helps.

I did make a couple of !!!! ups........but returned the goods to CS......thats what i get for laying off for a while..........

and to use the £1 (handB leaflet)Toiletry coupons, you have to make sure the products you are picking up are either classed as "B and T" or "T" alone

Does anyone know if the mouthwash coupon in the quitpack can be used when you buy any mouthwash, like the toothpaste coupon?

    Thanks.

    Hi all,
Thought that I would share this with those of you who have QK and SB, but no H&B like myself alas

I have used SB with combine with QK to get £5 off John Freida haircare which is on 3 for price of two. I checked and the self scan allowed the following: till takes the cost of 3 into the total spend amount. So....... 3 x £3.49 product = £10.47 less £3.49 3 for 2 = £698 less 2x QK 1.25 and SB £2.50 equals total cost of £1.98 for 3 items.

    Apologies if already posted.
