Oh, I wish you had posted on here that you couldn't get any H&B. They were pretty much non-existent around here til recently and I could only get them by swapping, but since the So Beautiful expired there have been lots. I grabbed some just to post as giveaways on PTS and would have happily grabbed more for you. Next time, sing out.. I'm sure one of us will be able to help you out. ;)

Aww you're so kind. TBH, I dont really like begging as I only had quit for swaps. I asked 2 mses when they offered but I was a bit late sending the SAE for the first lot and I think she had gone on her hols before it arrived, and the second lot were apparently posted on Tuesday but they havnt arrived! I dont know whether to still send the stamp I said I would if they ever arrive now.
Reclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so far
    HSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £400

give us a shout earlier next time, maybe at least 2 weeks b4 exp date? i live in coupon draught zone, but they occasionally will put out coupons just 3 weeks before exp, and only 1 type at a time, heavily guarded, quite a pain. but we will certainly find a way to help each other out.

how frequent did people go thro their toiletry? i think we maybe using a bit too much. for 2 people household, i went thro:

toothpaste - 2 weeks per tube
mouthwash - 2 weeks per bottle
bath foam - 8-10 bath per bottle
shower gel - 2-3 weeks per bottle (only OH using it, i prefer bath)
shampoo/ conditioner - not sure, opened a few bottle and use in alteration.

somebody told me it is not good to overwash yrself, bad for the skin, but couldn't help, i want to try them all and always anticipate to open a new one.

Theres also 2 of us too, my DD has her own stuff. My mum is terrible with bubble bath too, she uses 1 a week for her and my dad. I dont like too many bubbles cos I cant wash my hair well if too many. Toothpaste is shocking, do you eat it? :rotfl: I only use a bit big enough to cover my electric brushes head which is just over a pea size I spose. Now everyone knows my bathing habits too anyone else care to share???

    Sorry.. :(

I wasnt trying to moan that I havnt got any, I really REALLY dont need any more toiletries, I am more annoyed that I havnt recieved the coupons that were sent at the beginning of the week in time to use. What should I do? Still send a stamp if they ever arrive or not?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Ref the Quit vouchers.

I spent more than £10 the other day on toiletries which included BOGOF's.

I gave two £1.25 toiletry vouches to the cashier and they went through without a problem.

Today I spent just over £10 again but they were all individual items ie no BOGOF's and only one coupon would go through the till.

The cashier apologised and advised me to go to customer services.

CS said it is £1.25 per transaction not per £10. I said well take the £4.99 toothpaste back and I shall come back and buy it again but she took the voucher and gave me £1.25 in cash.

Has anyone else found this to be mainly the case with BOGOF's ie you can use both at the same time?

By the way if you use Blanx whitening toothpaste it's reduced to £4.99 at the minute so if you buy toiletries to just take it over the £5 mark you are getting it for £3.75, it's normally £6.99 a tube.

Inspired by leadhead (yes you have a lot to answer for) I, by accident today managed to do the illusive £0.00 aka free transaction. I'm not sure who was more shocked me or the checkout operator.

    Transaction consisted of:-

Tesco kids 2 in 1 shampoo (green bottle) £0.38
Original source shower gel (mint) £0.98
2 x aquafresh whitening toothpaste (BOGOF) £1.96 each
    2 x aquafresh toothbrushes (BOGOF) £2.48 each

Total £10.24 minus BOGOF Toothpaste £1.96 and BOGOF Toothbrush £2.48 = £5.80 to pay.

    Coupons:-

1 x £2.50 (can't remember if it was quit or SB)
    2 x £1.25 (quit)
    2 x £0.40 (quit)

I tried to upload a copy of my receipt here, but failled miserably, any help would be appreciated doing this.

    Thanks.

    Well Done!

I had a chance at a 0p shop earlier in the week - balance came down to 43p, and SA offered to type in my £1 off wys £4 on H/C so that it went through as 43p! I told him not to worry about it as I'd already used a couple of the coupons; was still v happy with my 43p tho!:j

As far as the Johnsons goes, I tried that one last year and prefer the Dove one I'm using this year.. it seems less prone to streaking and I know a friend found the same thing. You need to use less over areas like knees, heels and elbows as they do darken more.

I'd have a job to tell you how long anything lasts in our house. Most of my stuff is only used by me, but I like showers and baths and always have several items on the go at once, cos I can never resist trying things :D . I use loads of shampoo and conditioner though, as I wash my hair every day and need to use a fair bit of both. You should only use a small amount of toothpaste - just a straight line of paste on a normal brush. Its also not a good idea to use too much bubble bath, although I do love my bubbles too.

    Congratualtions :T

The best I ever managed was 3p. I can never manage to go in and just do H&B shop, cos Tesco too far away to be worthwhile going out there just do to that, and its hard to get 2 or 3 shops through at once.. the sa's usually make you feel like you are guilty of some terrible crime.

it may not have anything to do with yr shop, it could be just a doggy coupon that wouldn't scan, that happened to me before, did another same shop but used a new coupon and it went thro. always prepare a few more coupons in purse, in case there is a doggy one in yr combo.
