Inspired by leadhead (yes you have a lot to answer for) I, by accident today managed to do the illusive £0.00 aka free transaction. I'm not sure who was more shocked me or the checkout operator.

    Transaction consisted of:-

Tesco kids 2 in 1 shampoo (green bottle) £0.38
Original source shower gel (mint) £0.98
2 x aquafresh whitening toothpaste (BOGOF) £1.96 each
    2 x aquafresh toothbrushes (BOGOF) £2.48 each

Total £10.24 minus BOGOF Toothpaste £1.96 and BOGOF Toothbrush £2.48 = £5.80 to pay.

    Coupons:-

1 x £2.50 (can't remember if it was quit or SB)
    2 x £1.25 (quit)
    2 x £0.40 (quit)

I tried to upload a copy of my receipt here, but failled miserably, any help would be appreciated doing this.

    Thanks.

    WoW ... thats quality!!

what is a vodka wedding like? do they feed people a lot of vodka? set sausages on fire with vodka?

Well theres no wine just vodka.. There were 4 toasts before the meal had even started (straight vodka), think they brought one bottle per person.

weddings last THREE days... fortunately I could only make 1 day... Vodka yuk!!!

Can anyone advise if Tixylix, Calpol, Ibuprofen and clove oil comes under Health?

Bought above at Pharmacy counter (all was from behind counter), total spend came to just over £10, but the till would not accept the £2 off £8, or the £1 off £4 spend coupons. Had to pay full price. :(

Obviously doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Not sure but possibly these could have been the larger bottles only available from pharmacy making them (P) products rather than healthcare:o

Well done :T It's a great feeling isn't it. I never thought that a zero pence was possible until it happened last week. Obviously the till still generates a receipt so is still a transaction. It was great last week with the £2.50 SB, I got:

    4x Rightguard (BOGOF) £2.37 each
    1x colgate 0.93p
4x Orange Barley (BOGOF) £1.09 each
    Subtotal £14.77
    Multibuys £6.92
    To pay £7.85
    £2.50 SB
    £2.50 H&B
    £1.00 H&B
    £1.25 qp
    40p colgate
    20p moc

However I got more pleasure from handing over 1p on 1p transactions than my 0p ones. The buzz lasted longer.

Deep sigh of relief here that the h and b coupons are now no more but watch someone on here claim about midway through the week that they mananged to get one of these out of date coupons to scan :rotfl:

All the stuff I have mananged to accumalate the last few months I have seperated up and have stored in the small rectangular wine boxes, nice and neat to stack, all labelled, shampoo in one, conditioner in another, haircare in another, shower gel, bath stuff, toothpaste, facial wipes, deodarants, etc...

So now that all we have left is the newest quit packs does anyone think it is time for a brand new thread with a new sticky at the very top?

Even though I have a huge collection of toiletries and healthcare products I am now so totally and utterly addicted to couponing I cant just stop now and wait for the next lot to come along. I am now wondering how to use the three most useful coupons in these packs but still get the best offers and spend as little as possible.

All we have now is a £2 off an £8 healthcare spend which is only worth using if there are any items that scan for £4 after BOGOF leaving you just £2 to pay after you have used your £2 coupon.

The £1.25 off a £5 beauty and toiletry coupon will be more useful espesially if combined with the 40p colgate ones and also if any glitches appear. The best at the moment has to be the facial wipes ones, as detailed before ie 4 packs less £3.90 BOGOF leaving 91p to pay (or less if you add in a few more small value coupons).

Glad that my coupons have been releived from me for a while. I failed miserably today after last weeks & Thursdays performance. 3.50pm, 6 transactions lined up on the belt (pinched shopping seperators from neighbouring till) & the miserable man said he could only take one coupon for something I hadn't bought. Refused all coupons apart from 1 x £2.50 H&B which he classed as 1 coupon for something I hadn't bought. I was buying Right Guard & colgate. Do men think deodrant is something that just sits on the shelf or what! Glad he didn't get to my 2nd transaction which included charlie body spray, he'd probably think that was not H&B too just a girls toy. :rotfl:

Actually in the end told him to forget it & I left empty handed. Thanks to the girl that swapped over on PTS with me, really did appreciate the exchange of coupons but really sorry I couldn't use them to the extreme.

thanks. so the cash office will collect all coupons at certain time of the day to match them up with the record in till? i have heard that sa handed back coupons to couponer after scanning them, to allow the couponer reuse them next time, and it doesn't seem the sa has any trouble afterwards. strange.

hmmmm.I think missing vouchers wouldnt be called up on because they always get left on the side or fall down the back of the till but if your till was constantly down on coupons they would most prob notice it. Its the actual till reading they look at though. The store i work at used to operate a 10% policy so if you put more than 10% through they might have mentioned it to you and reminded you of the policy.
