I had 4 Aquafresh toothpastes in the shop but separated the 40p coupons so that they weren't next to each other.;)

Be careful with those Aquafresh ones, make sure you pick the right ones up.

I went yesterday and the bogof sign was in front of the Aquafresh so I assumed these were on bogof and picked 4 up, they weren't and it messed my totals up as they were cheaper so I didn't meet the £10 threshold and my vouchers wouldn't scan.

Will be taking them back and exchanging them for the right ones but I think it is very sneaky of Tesco to put the sign in front of the normal ones

I ended up leaving the house at 5.15, clocked on in the office at 5.40am and left at mid-day to take 4 children to the local scout fete, so no tescoing today for me and I am shattered.

However, at the fete, DD won some sanex in the lucky dip .......... and DD2 won some shampoo - oh great more toiletries !!! LOL

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have 4 sets of peach coupons left, already spent 2 lots today.

Tomorrow-church, then friends for lunch. So they aren't going to get spent.

I just don't have the energy to go out tonight and use them up.

But maybe I should make the effort seeing as, by my calculations, I'm going to run out of Sanex shower gel and face wipes in April 2013 .

welshy - more shampoo and sanex? that's great. lol :rotfl:

why mr. welshy chose yellow for the kitchen? did he want to create a moroccan look? yellow kitchen is not bad, good for apetite. :rotfl: what colour r u going to choose?

finished off all hb+healthcare finally, only 2 sets, but quite pleased with the go low nut bars, got a whole box in one go. :rotfl: love the stuffs. also discovered OH only has about a dozen deo left, that would be a sin... so used the 2 sets to get him another dozen :D .

i think sometimes there will be a couple of doggy coupons (legitimate but just wouldn't scan), yesterday £1 healthcare didn't scan even when bought all the stuffs; so ditched it and used a new one today, same shop and all went thro. the lesson for me is, always prepare spare coupons in case there is a doggy one in the combos.

cotton bud £0.35 is beauty - bought it many times to make up the total.

I had a terrible H/B shop yesterday, SA would only take one voucher, said they had been wrapped over the knuckles for excepting too many, think I'll be changing stores they were the same last week too, They wouldn't except all my clothes one's either!! Thank goodness I had my first till-spit the other day for £12 off £80 spend!

  • Have been reading all your threads for two months now. I have tried in six different Tescos (express, metro, big ones) in the London area and no luck! Yesterday I had to remind the SA that I had bought more than £11.xx worth of healthcare products and he scanned one quit £2.00 coupon. He would not scan anything else, not even moc's. The same story in the other T's I have visited. No iten puchased, no coupon scanned.

The don't even have "The Vanishing act of Esme Lennox" in stock, so I can use the DM coupon. (sigh) Feel jealous reading how much money some MSE's save

i never thought of using a body scrub before applying, too lazy to do so, i only have the original source ones, they didn't feel like scrubbing, the particles are too small, oh no.. i also have 2 lynx snake peels but have not tried them yet.

does these self tan lotion paint us all the same colour tan or vary among people with different skin tone?

OH is using the face tan and it wears out pretty fast, if he forgot for a couple of times, the colour just disappeared.

i didn't use face tan only body tan, will i look weird with a white face and a tan body? like a baboon? :rotfl:

I think the tanning moisturisers do look different on different people, as we have varying skin tones.

I use Nivea SunVisage Moisturiser. Its not "man enough" as a moisturiser really, so after a few days I started to use it every other day, and use my normal one in between. It just gives a nice slight change of colour that looks natural.

I had a bit of a bargain tonight. I thought I'd use up some H&B coupons on some Xmas Gifts. The Body Therapy Spa Range is on offer at 3 for 2 at the moment, except for the paper gift bags and toiletry bags. I fancied getting 3 each of the 2 gift sets @ £7.99, but it wasn't clear whether they were in the offer or not, as there were no yellow shelf stickers.

I got to the til and put through 3 sets, but they came up at full price £23.97 so I said I'd leave them. When the Supervisor came up to void the transaction I explained how I read the offer and she said she'd check it.

When the Supervisor came back she said she'd spoken to the Team Leader, and as there were no yellow stickers to show the sets were excluded, I could have 6 bags for the price of 4 as a goodwill gesture.

So instead of paying £47.94 they went through at £31.96.. and then of course there were my H&B coupons and other mocs to come off.. in the end I paid just £16.62 for the 6 bags. Result! :j :j :j

Both of my shops today were not fabulous - staff have definately had a talking to over the last 2 weeks I've not been instore. Went to 2 Tesco's and each of the cashiers and the CS said something to the effect of being worried about taking too many coupons.
The CS got her calc out to check I'd spent over £10 in toiletries (after till girl rejected it) and pointed out that my Eurax was a medicine - then proceeded to add in the Scholl foot sprays hehe - well she got over £10 half way down my receipt so gave up and gave me the £2.50 for that.
I actually pulled a naughty one and got 2 refunds on a baby basket but I'd better not go into details :o

Also had a ref on my £3.99 bogof Scoll plaster thingies as till op wouldn't scan all 4 vouchers for H/C - £7.98 tyvm :p

So in the end I spent about £14 for £64 of stuff and 1300 points ;)

Dang I also should have returned the Tesco baby wipes as stupid girl would only scan 1 out of the 8 I was hoping for (4 x 2 different Huggies Baby wipes). Yeah it really was a points outing today.
