What have you found to work with the Healthcare vouchers, with the exception of vitamins, allergy tabs etc as I don't seem to get them to work with very much?

Hiya folks / genuis's,
Like "bloaty" I have quite a few of the health vouchers to use up, and wondered what they could be used for and the maximum amount you can add in one transaction.
Previously I have only done my health and beauty shops in batches of £10 which can be a real pain, although worthwhile. Can you make them up into larger shops of say £20 or even more and then just hand over the coupons relating to the shops i.e. 1 set for a £10 shop, 2 for a £20 etc etc?
Finally what do the toothbrushes come under and cotton wool come under? Health and beauty or healthcare?
Thanks in advance.
PS thanks Ragtimeplayer and boo for your answers.0 -
Toothbrushes are toiletry but I think cotton buds come under baby which won't work on any of the vouchers.
I got caught out with cotton buds a while back and had to race and get a cheapy toothpaste while a long queue formed behind meStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

Like you I was getting fed up doing small £10 shops - so last night I did £20 worth and handed over 2 lots of coupons with no problems. Just remember to separate them, ie, don't have two of the same next to each other as sometimes the till thinks that one coupon has been scanned twice, IYSWIM, and will reject the second one. I had 4 Aquafresh toothpastes in the shop but separated the 40p coupons so that they weren't next to each other.;)0 -

Tried this today but the lad seperated them all out and took only one of each type. So for me two £10 shops would have been more profitable.
So now I still have coupons to use, will have to go again tomorrow.0
